Chapter 2 A Sarcastic Person

Six years later.

In the late spring, at the airport of City S.

The pick-up port was filled with all kinds of noisy sounds. The reporters were holding their cameras and peering around.

Taylor strode out, lowered her voice, and said to the person beside her, "Guess how many reporters are here for us?"

"You are thinking too much." Simon Kint stomped the sandals on his feet loudly, and his laughter was hearty, "You are just a passerby? Who will shoot you?"

"... I'm indeed a well-known designer!" Taylor pouted her mouth casually.

"Hero"

"The well-known Hollywood jewelry designer is 'hero,' not Taylor." Simon looked at her innocently and blinked, "Or you can just make it public, telling them you are 'hero.' I'm sure that these reporters will rush over immediately, and the flash will be enough to blind your eyes."

"That sounds not funny." Taylor curled her lips, smiling slyly, "I'm going to have an interview at the Lychee Broadcasting System, while you can wait here for Kathy."

The flashlight suddenly lit up frantically. Seeing five people who walked out of the pick-up port quickly, Taylor couldn't help shrinking her eyes suddenly, and the corners of her lips set in a grim line.

"Miss Wood, did you visit Paris with Daniel Brook of KJ Group this time?"

"Miss Wood, are you and Mr. Brook already in a relationship? Does this trip abroad indicate that your marriage is on schedule?"

Abby Wood, who was surrounded by excited reporters, smiled sweetly, "I enjoyed my visit to Paris this time. As for other things, if there is good news, I will tell you in the first place."

After speaking, she ignored the reports' following questions and left under the protection of the bodyguards.

"Taylor?" Simon looked at Taylor, who was expressionless and nudged her shoulder. When Taylor finally responded and turned to him, he raised his chin towards the figure who had left, "You know her?"

"No, I don't." Taylor curled up her mouth and chuckled lightly, "I just think her earrings are nice, I'm going to the broadcasting system now."

"Okay, be careful." Simon nodded and watched her walk to the elevator, not far away.

Then he walked to the rest area, sat in a corner with few people, and started to play his phone boringly.

He had to wait here for more than an hour.

About an hour later, the pick-up port became lively again.

This time, in addition to the sound of reporters pressing the camera crazily, there were also screams of girls one after another, accompanied by astonishing words such as "He is too handsome that I couldn't even close my legs" and "I'll die without regrets in this life if I can sleep with him for one night."

"People are so open-minded now?" Simon tutted and looked up at the source of the sound.

There were a group of people walking out of the airport, six bodyguards to be exact. They were in long black trench coats, walking steadily.

The man walking in the middle wore a tidy couture suit, his handsome face chiseled, and his slender eyes dark. He set his mouth in a grim line tight, and he was full of the indifference and kingly aura that had been in the upper ranks.

When Simon saw those dashing pedestrians, he was a bit jealous somehow.

They were both presidents. But Daniel looked so aggressive and magnificent like an emperor, while whenever Simon himself put a long face, Taylor would laugh at him and describe him as a cool judge whose face almost turned black!

That was unfair!

The smile on the corner of Simon's mouth faded, and his eyes became cold, which spread an aura that nobody should get close.

Lifting the phone and looking at himself on the screen, Simon nodded with satisfaction. Well, he was also an overbearing president indeed!

"Simon, you are playing black-faced judge again?" A clear childish voice rang beside him, accompanied by a silver bell-like laughter.

Simon regained his consciousness, looking down at the little girl in a beige skirt in front of him. There was a gentle smile on his face unconsciously, but his voice was helpless, "Kathy, I am very white, okay?!"

"It's great to have you here, Boss. I've been satirized along the way." June Hunter's eyes were full of excitement when she looked at Simon as if she had seen a family member that she hadn't seen for a long time.

"I'm doing this to train your living ability." The little girl Katherine Wood glanced at Jane with a smile and then looked around, "Where is Taylor?"

"She went to work."

"Workaholic!" Kathy curled her lips, "She knows nothing but work every day and doesn't even have time to apply a mask. If she continues to live this way, I'm afraid that she would definitely become a dark-skinned and ugly yellow-faced woman who can only die alone miserably."

"...Hey, she is your mother, okay? Do you know anyone who would say her mother like that?!" Simon felt helpless as he stroked her hair.

"Of course, isn't there one standing in front of you?" Kathy raised her mouth and smiled, walking towards the elevator with her long legs, "Hurry up, I'm starving! The steak on the plane is the worst that I have eaten in my life! I mean the worst!"

Simon was speechless.

It felt so weird to hear a five-year-old girl say something about her lifetime!

When Kathy walked to the elevator, the door was slowly closing, and several men in black clothes were putting cool faces as they stood in the elevator.

So Kathy raised her hands decisively and stretched out to the middle of the elevator. At the same time, she looked at people inside, smiling brightly, "Wait for a second, thank you!"

As expected, the elevator door paused and reopened.

Kathy jumped up with a smile and looked at the men from heads to toes quickly. When her gaze fell on the man standing in the middle, her big eyes lit up.

So handsome!

Twenty times more handsome than Simon!

Only his expression was so cold and indifferent as if someone owed him hundreds of millions!

"Kathy, do you have any idea how dangerous your actions were just now? If the elevator doors had closed, your hands would have broken!" Simon stepped into the elevator as he watched the little girl make dangerous moves, frowning.

"He's right. It's too dangerous!" Jane's expression was also very serious.

"The sensor of the elevator is in the middle of the door, okay? Please fill your mind with some common sense, huh?" Kathy rolled her eyes indifferently and didn't take their words seriously.

Then she tugged the corner of Simon's clothes, "Simon, look. That uncle is so handsome, many times as handsome as you!"

Simon followed her gaze and looked up and happened to see two black-clothed bodyguards stepping forward, staring at him solemnly in front of him.

...

So, did they think that he would take a five-year-old girl to rob them?

"Although he is handsome, he is still not qualified to be Taylor's boyfriend." Kathy continued seriously.

Simon lost his words.

While the bodyguards didn't dare to speak.

Mr. Brook was not qualified to be someone's boyfriend?

That was the funniest joke they had heard this year.

"Simon, remember to protect Taylor well. She is simply ignorant, so you should remind her of protecting her wealth and her body. Especially this kind of indifferent domineering president, who might look tall, rich and handsome, but he might be obscene inwardly—" The little girl continued her speech, which startled the rest.

Looking at the little girl who wasn't even as long as his legs in front of him, Daniel's eyes turned cold.

Simon hurriedly stretched out his hand and covered Kathy's mouth, chuckling awkwardly, "She is just an ignorant little girl. She just talked nonsense, haha, haha."

Then, after the elevator door opened, he picked up the girl in one hand, grabbed Jane, who was smirking with the other hand, and rushed out as if he escaped from there.
