Contemporary Romance>So into CEO Daddy>Chapter 7 Powerful Whip
Chapter 7 Powerful Whip
In the Financial Street, every inch was valued. And the central area was the landmark building of City A-KJ Emperor Building. In this place, it was not the height, which was more than two hundred meters, that made people thought highly of it, but its value that almost was as equivalent as that of a country.
"What are the arrangements for me in the following two days?" Daniel wore a highly-customized suit and walked out of the imperial mansion expressionlessly; his voice was cold and indifferent.
"Tomorrow, you will have a video conference at 9 o'clock in the morning, have dinner with the president of the National Bank, and a board meeting in the afternoon. In the evening, you promised Ms. Emma to go home for dinner." Bill, who was walking beside him, replied softly as he held the gold-rimmed glasses on the bridge of his nose, "The day after tomorrow, you will inspect the flagship store in the morning and participate in the charity auction in the afternoon. There is no arrangement for the evening."
"Cancel my appointment to the charity auction the day after tomorrow. Mr. Oscar is back." After Daniel said this, he pursed his thin lips, and added, "Easter can attend it in my name."
"Yes, sir." Bill nodded with a chuckle.
A black Rolls-Royce Motor Car stopped in front of the building, and the driver, wearing a respectful face, stood by with his hand in white gloves blocking the top of the door.
"Get someone to buy the best massage chair and send it to Mr. Oscar's home." When Daniel was about to get on the car, he recalled this and enjoined.
"Okay—"
Before Bill finished speaking, he was interrupted by a roar.
When he looked over, he found that a motorcycle was accelerating and rushing in the direction of their car, followed by a fast bicycle.
"Stop there!" The biker already stood up for stepping too hard, screaming hoarsely while stepping on it desperately.
Unfortunately, no matter how fast she stepped, her steps couldn't be compared with the throttle of a motorcycle.
"Master, that person seems to be Miss Wood." Bill's vision was perfect, and he saw at a glance that the one taking the bike desperately was Taylor Wood, the cure of his master, whom they had met last night.
Well, medicine for insomnia.
Before Bill finished, the man beside him had already taken action.
The horsewhip was thrown out neatly with a fierce momentum, directly landed on the face of the thief who was laughing on the motorcycle.
Then, his wrist slightly retracted, and the whip retracted as if it was obedient.
The man fell off the motorcycle severely before he could react, but because the bag strap was hung on the handlebars, he was taken a few meters away by the motorcycle that was still moving even if it fell crookedly. He didn't stop until he was hit on the off-road vehicle parked in front.
The bag thief was lying on the ground, dying and wailing. The blood on his face stretched from the upper left forehead to the lower right cheek, and the blood flowed continuously.
"Get in the car." Daniel's cold voice came from inside the car.
Bill, who was watching the scene with excitement, regained his senses in an instant. He glanced at Taylor, who was less than ten meters away from them on her bicycle, and blinked before he got on the car.
"Drive." Daniel leaned back on the leather chair. His slender eyes closed slightly, while his thin lips moved softly.
"Yes, sir." The driver swallowed silently and gently pressed his foot on the accelerator.
"Oh, my gosh. The whipping posture of President Brook is getting more and more awesome!" Bill thought.
Taylor rode up to the bag thief, got off the shared bicycle, and parked it aside. She even took out her phone and paid the fare before walking to the bag thief.
Bending down and taking off the bag hung on the motorcycle, she carefully patted the dust on it. Seeing the two drops of blood splashing on the bag cover, she frowned slightly.
She should be able to wipe it clean, right?
Today was the first day for her little girl to go to the domestic kindergarten. She deliberately left work one-hour earlier to pick her up.
But as soon as she reached the subway station, the motorcycle whizzed past her, and the driver snatched the bag she was holding.
That was a birthday present from her little girl!
So without even thinking about it, she borrowed a shared bicycle that wasn't yet paid, stepping on it and starting chasing.
Thinking about it, Taylor raised her head and glanced at the direction where the black Rolls-Royce Motor Car disappeared, and her lips pressed slightly.
She didn't see the person who took the thief down, but she recognized the powerful whip.
After all, she was tied up by that whip last night and almost threw someone down because of it.
Realizing that some blushing and heart-pounding images were flashing in her mind, Taylor quickly patted her cheeks and shook her head, getting those images out of her mind.
Seeing that the bag thief's face was covered in so much blood that she could not see his facial features, she dialed the emergency number after thinking for a while.
The Rolls-Royce Motor Car was already far away from the Empire Building. After Bill dealt with the massage chair and charity auction, he turned his head and glanced at Daniel.
He blinked his eyes and curled the corners of his lips.
"What do you want to say?" Daniel still closed his eyes slightly, but he said in a calm voice as if he knew what Bill was doing.
"Before yesterday, Master, you have only slept for three hours every night for two weeks in a row, light sleep, I mean. Your sleeping quality is very poor." Bill put his hands on his knees, his tone relaxed, "The rainy season this year would last for another two months or so."
"So?"
"Master, you slept well last night and didn't even awake. You didn't say anything about headaches all day, which means the sleeping quality was also good." Bill looked at the man with a gentle smile, "For your health, it is better to ask Dr. Field to find Miss Wood—"
"Don't tell anyone what happened last night." Daniel suddenly opened his slender eyes and interrupted him.
Bill was stunned for a moment, but only for a moment, he understood, "Master, are you worried that if someone would take advantage of Miss Wood to hurt you after knowing this?"
His eyes behind the gold-rimmed glasses narrowed and began to flicker with coldness.
As the chairman of the KJ Group, the young master had to be strong and with no weaknesses, leaving others no chance to fight against him.
What a pity, it's so hard to find a cure for his master to sleep well.
"What happened last night is just a coincidence." Daniel glanced at him lightly, his dark pupils quiet.
"I understand." Bill gathered his mind and nodded slightly.
The young master meant that he was just too tired, and Taylor just appeared at that time.
Even if it wasn't her, but anyone else, he could still fall asleep.
However, at this time last year, didn't the young master not sleep well for three months, and then after the rainy season ended, he went directly to the hospital to rest for more than a week?
But if it was really because of Taylor, why?
Was it because she had some special smell that could ease his young master's mind?
He should find an opportunity to ask Dr. Field about this.
If it was really because of some special smell, he could just let the perfumer blend the taste and make incense based on it.
"How did you know her name?" Daniel asked suddenly, his tone very indifferent.
"After you fell asleep, I sent Miss Wood out." Bill replied with a light smile, "Don't worry; she didn't ask anything about your information."
Hearing this, the man didn't speak anymore, turning his gaze out the car window with his dim eyes.
