Chapter 16 Heavy Headache
Bill sensed the changing of Daniel and replaced his smile with seriousness.
Bill held out his hand and hinted to the guards that they get that man out of here. As for Bill himself, he walked towards Daniel and said softly, "Mr. Brook, let's go home."
"Where is my medicine?" Daniel spoke in a husky voice, breathlessly.
Bill's heart sank within him when he heard Daniel said so.
It was because Daniel had not had his medicine for more than half a year.
If it were not the fact that Daniel could not bear the headache this time--
"I forgot. I threw it away last time." Daniel knitted his brows and rose from the sofa.
And his slender body shivered due to the pain.
Bill wanted to hold Daniel's arms unconsciously, but he retreated his hands after receiving Daniel's eyes.
"I am not as weak as that." Daniel walked outside the room with no expression.
"I am sorry." Bill lowered his head and apologized.
And he walked quickly to open the door for Daniel.
The stentorian music in the bar flew into the room like a rapid flood. Daniel felt even more terrible.
The music, people's screams, as well as the sound of the heavy rain outside, echoed clearly in his mind. It was like that a clumsy violinist was making noise beside him, which almost drove him crazy.
And the pain in his temple increased. Daniel felt as if his head was about to split.
"Why, Daniel, you should come to the bar!" A teasing voice sounded in the corner.
Next second, a man in a pink check shirt, green trousers, and flip-flops approached in an unsteadily way. And the smile on his face was bright, "Do you understand now and want to find a girl there? That's my good man. Now you do the right thing for what hid in your underwear--"
His mockery sound suddenly disappeared.
And he screamed as if he were a screaming chicken whose neck was held.
That man goggled at the groove in the wall and touched his face with his quivering hand with a swallow or two.
OMG! He could have been disfigured if that whip had fallen on his face.
"Daniel, how could you treat me like that! We fought together and slept together! I should be given credit for hard work, if not for merit. How can you do this to me when you don't need me? I--" And he pursed his mouth and said in an aggrieved tone, with his eyes watering.
He was just the same as a miserable woman who had been discarded by her husband.
"Mr. Kent, Mr. Brook is uncomfortable." Bill interrupted Leon's acting.
Bill could tell that Daniel's whip would fall on Leon's face ruthlessly, although Leon regarded his handsome face more important than his life.
"Uncomfortable?" Leon gave a start and walked to Daniel.
When he spoke again, he was wearing a serious face, "Where is the medicine Jack gave him last time? Bill, do you bring some with you?"
Leon licked the corner of his mouth and looked at Daniel unpleasantly as if he had known something, "You threw it?"
"I will return to the South Villa." Daniel did not glance at Leon. He said so calmly and walked towards the VIP elevator.
"Call Jack now." Leon followed Daniel and ordered Bill. "How does he sleep these days?"
Bill answered after finishing the phone call, "Terrible."
And he added after thinking for a while, "But he had a good sleep at night three days before."
"Three days before?" Leon paused his steps and turned to Bill while raising his brows, "What happened that day?"
Bill did not answer before Daniel's emotionless voice came to them, "You have spoken too much."
Leon raised his brows slightly, looking at Bill who did not say a word anymore.
Well, there was a secret.
It was fine. He could find the truth himself.
The VIP elevator stopped at the parking lot at the back door of the bar.
When they stepped out of the elevator, they heard a woman's broken screaming, which was mixed with anger and terror, "Let me go! Go away! Don't touch me!"
Yet they were not good people who had a heroic spirit and would offer help. So, they turned a blind ear and went directly to the blue LOTUS car nearby.
As they walked, they approached the sound.
"Come on beauty. Don't hide. Let me love you." A man with yellow hair leered while he was talking about dirty things. And he tried to kiss the girl he had pressed on the car.
When Leon saw them leaning against his Lotus car, he was stunned. And he curved his mouth to a smile although he was angry.
Well, they had good taste and regard his Lotus car as their sofa?
Leon had just bought that car and he even didn't do this to it.
Leon turned around, got the black whip from Bill, and was about to whip them.
Yet a woman coming from a nearby car moved faster. She punched at the right temple of that wretched man with a tightly clenched fist.
And she did it with strength. That wretched man fell on the ground as he had not anticipated that,
"Olivia, are you okay?" Taylor walked by Olivia's side and held her up from the ground. And she examined Olivia from head to toe.
Tonight, Olivia invited Taylor to hang out in the bar.
They enjoyed their conversation and had some wine.
Ten minutes ago, Olivia said she would like to go to the restroom and did not return.
Besides, she did not respond to Taylor's message and phone call. Taylor got worried and started to look for Olivia. When Taylor passed the back door, she heard Olivia's cry for help.
"I am fine." Olivia took a deep breath and trembled uncontrollably.
"There, there." Taylor took off her coat and put it on Olivia's back. And she fondled Olivia's arms.
"Well, do you two forget something?" Leon suddenly spoke and rolled his eyes.
Taylor and Olivia were stunned for a second before they had any response.
Then, they turned around and hit that wretched man with their feet and hands spontaneously.
"Ah--" A miserable shouting echoed in the parking lot.
Leon saw Taylor's high heels and swallowed.
He wondered if that wretched man was maimed now.
The most vicious was women's hearts.
Taylor gave an indifferent glance at the man who was rolling on the ground due to the pain.
And she was in a daze when she saw Daniel after turning back.
And she walked towards him after thinking for a while.
"Thanks for your help last time." She stared at Daniel and said seriously.
"For what?" Daniel asked indifferently and his face almost twisted.
Indeed, the screaming made him suffer from a more serious headache.
"Last time, you stopped the thief who took away my bags outside the KJ Building. Thank you." Taylor curled her mouth to a smile.
Although he did not remember, she could not pretend that she did not know as she was the one being helped.
Daniel looked at the smiling woman, and he smelled that sweet and milky smell again. It was a delicate smell.
And it was very pleasant.
