Chapter 5 You Can't Escape
The man leaned down and took the delicate red lips in his mouth with his big hand grabbing the back of her head so ferociously that it seemed as if he were going to tear her apart and swallow her in. Now he took possession of the person beneath him!
Zoe had the illusion of standing on a cliff throughout the whole time. She bounced and swayed in the air, but there was always a pair of hot hands holding her waist, pulling her with a force that almost snapped her slender waist.
When the intense pain came, she finally couldn't control herself and cried out, but all cries of pain were tyrannically blocked. Her body, her breathing, and even her consciousness all seemed to be grasped by an invisible palm, making her unable to escape.
Every time she felt like she was about to pass out, the man always had a way to throw her higher and pull her back fiercely into the ocean of desire in disregard of her pleas, dragging her down rapidly with him...
She didn't know where she was throughout the whole time. The only thing that she knew was a deep voice gently called her name whenever she felt she couldn't bear it anymore...
And then her world sank into endless darkness.
The light was like a knife, splitting the darkness.
Zoe lifted her heavy eyelids, and the first thing that entered her eyes was flesh.
A man's naked chest!
She looked up in despair, and a cold but handsome face took her by surprise and ran into her sight!
Undoubtedly, this was a gorgeous man.
But his thin lips were still pursed into a cold curve while he was sleeping, and the contour of his face was as cold and hard as a sculpture, which contained a gruesome, evil temperament.
It was also an extremely dangerous man!
But... why did she feel this man looked so familiar?
She couldn't recall where she'd seen him before, and under such circumstances, there wasn't enough time for her to trace back her memory as she was now lying in the man's arms. The touch of his body against hers gave her a clear reminder that neither of them was wearing any clothes!
Zoe froze. The memories of last night returned in pieces and swamped her mind like a tidal wave. She recollected how she had tossed and turned in front of this man, begging for caressing. The retrieved memories turned her normally white face to pale all at once!
The man beside her rolled over, and she went stiff with panic. When he fell asleep again, she put on her clothes which could barely cover her aching, limp body, and practically ran out of the hotel albeit all the pain!
Shortly after she left, Carlos woke up. He stretched his long arm to cuddle his woman only to find she was already gone.
When he looked at the empty bed, his eyes lingered for a moment on the red bloodstain on the snow-white sheet. The image of the woman crying last night came into his mind, and his eyes as dark as the ink had some must-win light flashing across them
Then he got up and walked into the bathroom carelessly with his perfect-lined body naked.
Zoe, she couldn't escape.
...
"What?! So, you disappeared yesterday to have a one-night stand with a strange man?!!!"
In the café, Yilia called out, and everyone around turned to look at her.
Zoe covered Yilia's mouth instantly, her face flushed, and her voice lowered, "Keep your voice down!"
Yilia pulled her hand down and asked in a row, "What's the story? Why did you leave with someone you don't know? Do you have any idea how concerned I've been? How could you just go to a hotel with a strange man!"
Zoe had been haunted by the memories and flinched at the thought of the event that happened the day before. She replied ambiguously, "It was just an accident..."
"What accident! You've been taken advantage of. What kind of accident could it be? Let's go. Let's call the police!"
Yilia was decisive and quick in action. After leaving some money for the bill, she dragged Zoe out of the café right away.
It took Zoe tons of explanation to finally put Yilia off her idea of calling the police. The two of them sat down on a bench by the side of the road and watched the traffic on the road. Yilia was still indignant, "Even if he saved you, he didn't send you to the hospital but took you to the hotel instead. That was not right. He couldn't be some decent gentleman anyway!"
