Chapter 3

Ruby

Until I heard the car opening, and he was pulled off me. I rolled my body immediately and covered my bottom.

It was so dark, and a lot of men were wearing black suits. Someone was yelling and punching the guy who was trying to force me into sex.

I was shivering, but I was curious too. I stepped out of the car, only leaning to the door. And I found that handsome man yelling, “dare to come close to her again, and I will cut off your dick.” His tone was scary, but he was so protective even though he didn’t know me.

The— Rapist begged, and he was bleeding all over his face, “please, Mr. Ace. I’m sorry. I didn’t know that she belongs to you.”

The handsome man named Ace turned his head to me, and all I could see was darkening in his eyes. Anger and rage in his tone. Very grimace face and rounded fist as if his veins wanted to pop out of his fist; I thought he would slap my face or beat me or something.

He inhaled and exhaled deeply, and I even saw his chest going up and down while gazing at me. Then he commanded his men, “take him to jail now.”

I almost freaked out! Jail! Who is that guy, for god sake?

I didn’t notice that I said that loudly.

He strode closer to me and took off his jacket then placed it to my shoulders “come with me, I will drive you to your home safely.”

I didn’t say anything. Why did I trust him? I had no idea.

I walked with him to his car, and other cars followed us. I didn’t ask or talk. I was just telling him the way to my house. Once we arrived, I thanked him politely, “thank you, Mr.”

He blurted out, “my name is Ace heliski.”

I nodded mutely, and before I could take off his jacket and open my door. He commanded me firmly, “wait! I will open the door for you.”

I was shocked, but I didn’t protest. He rotated to my side and opened the door for me. I handed him his jacket. He raised his brow “keep it, and I will walk with you to your door. Are you living alone?”

I nodded, “yes, Mr ace.”

He groaned, annoyed, I don’t know why— but he said, “then I will keep one of my guards to look after you.”

I widened my eyes, “What why? No need for that. Mr— I should go now.”

I handed him his jacket, but he pulled my hand and stopped me, repeating in a grating tone, “I said I’m leaving one of my guards. Now go. And here is my cell phone private number call me anytime.”

He was acting strangely, but I was exhausted. So I just walked to my house. And tried to sleep. I couldn’t be honest. Especially when receiving a text message from a restricted number [ you didn’t call me. Which is rude behavior, miss ruby? Don’t you know who I am? ]

Honestly, I felt so insulted by his words and curious about how he got my number that fast!

So I decided to call Ace.

And that was what shocked me!
