The assistant who was standing beside Samuel Summers frowned at Vicky and tried to get her away from him but stopped because of Samuel's glare. She suddenly had a bad premonition in her heart.

Her name is Sarah and she was working for Samuel for five years and fascinated by him. She was a substitute assistant because his friend and secretary Liam Johnson flew abroad to dealt with some unfinished business. This was the first time in five years she got the chance to get closer to him. She was so happy and excited to accompany him.

She was giving his schedule for the day on his way to the elevator. Though she knew about his cold nature she wanted to try her luck. When she entered inside the elevator she saw a woman standing closer to him. Her first thought was that,

"Why the man feared for his anger towards women still doesn't throw her outside..??"

Because so many young girls and celebrities who tried to seduce him were thrown out by him or by his secretary or by the guards. This was her first time to see him not throwing a woman. She just thought that she might not have provoked him yet and stood inside.

When Vicky covered her mouth and turned around Sarah felt humiliation and anger. She did wear the perfume but only a little because it was strictly prohibited in working at Summers Corporation. Her Boss strictly forbid it. What she found the most important thing was that the ruthless CEO's gentleness attitude towards the stranger. He neither pushed her or scolded he simply caught her before she hit the floor.

Samuel Summers took Vicky in his arms in bridal carrying style and ordered the assistant to get out from the elevator. The poor assistant followed his order subconsciously and dumbfounded at his action. She stared at the closed elevator door.

After sending the assistant out Samuel pressed the highest floor which was his penthouse apartment. He used this apartment only when he took business trips.

Samuel inhaled the fragrance which made him go crazy on their first night, and his desire started to increase. To add fuel to his injury Vicky unconsciously rubbed her face on his neck.

"You are going to be the death of me...."

He couldn't control his desire to kiss her lips when it touched his neck. When he was about to bent down the elevator opened with a ding sound. He cursed himself and carried her to his apartment.
