At the private hospital in City S

The woman had an accident, her face was pale and her body is full of blood. She voiced out weakly from the operating table.

"Save me, Ethan!"

A man stood in front of her, his lips were curled in disdain and the scornful expression on his face was so obvious, and the words that come out from his mouth were like piercing arrows, "Save you! hmph. Today I am here for you. Look at this signed contract it states that you will donate your heart to my mother. Since you are already dying then we can't waste each other time and as filial piety, you should fulfill your obligations."

Nyla was shocked by his words. Her husband wants her heart for her mother. She knows that her mother-in-law has a weak heart and they are searching for a suitable heart but why did she donate her heart when she is good. When did she sign the contract she was in utter disbelief.

When she was in a daze the door of the room flung open. A woman gracefully entered the room. "Helen, Save me!" Nyla said as she sees a ray of hope.

The woman ignored Nyla's plead and hang her arm around Ethan intimately.

"Ethan, don't let her sleep while operating. She should see the consequences of offending you. You know I can't imagine that she will betray you behind your back. Also, it will be a blessing for her that her heart can be used by mom."

Nyla was astounded. Her childhood friend is discussing taking her heart without any discomfort and what is she talking about betrayal."Helen, what are you talking about? When did I betray Ethan? Also, I haven't signed any contract." Nyla screamed out of her lungs.

With hateful eyes, Helen stepped forward and slapped Nyla hard. "You filthy bitch shut up, don't you dare confess that you stayed with Samuel Bryant for a whole night? You gave Ethan the green hat and now dare to be arrogant in front of him. Also, it was signed by you remember last month." saying this Helen sneered.

Nyla realize that her friend had betrayed her to sign a contract, she hopefully turned her head to the man, her eyes were burning red, and there was blood oozing out of her mouth. She was already weak. "Ethan, it's true that I went to Samuel but only because he can help you. I ask him to..."

"Enough!"

Ethan's expression becomes twisted. He stopped Nyla coldly and said, "I don't need your explanation now. Do you know what I hate most about you, that you are being too smart? Everyone takes you as a strong and independent woman, I am like a man being kept by your side who is dependent on you for every penny. I don't need you to remind me that all the time, how much favor you did to me."

It turned out to be like this. It's so ridiculous! Just because she was high above him he wanted to kill her. Was she blind in the past? How could she marry such a scumbag?

Helen squatted near Nyla and said, "Oh my dear Nyla, you know what I am the one who told Ethan about your meeting with Samuel. I know I promised you to keep it a secret for you but if I didn't tell him that then how can he be more favorable towards a week woman like me." she smiled proudly.

Nyla suddenly laughed, smiled mockingly and desperately, "Oh.... You both are a suitable match. You are beast! A devil!" she cursed.

"Ethan let's not waste more time, Mom shouldn't wait long," Helen said as a considerate wife.

"Okay" Ethan's voice was gentle and he rubbed Helen's hair lovingly.

The doctor soon entered the operating table and Ethan instructed them carefully. They had already received a huge amount of money and were happy to operate.

"No... You can't do this to me!" Nyla screamed but it was all in vain. She struggled hard but she was tightly tied to the bed and can't move an inch.

The doctors cut her skin near her heart, she wasn't anesthetized as per instruction. Looking at the blood overflowing out of her body, her vision went blank.

She screamed in her heart.

Nyla Chilton opened her eyes with great difficulty. She was feeling dizzy. She saw the unfamiliar yet familiar surroundings.

In her mind, there is only hatred to the bones. No, she was dead.

Nyla Struggled to sit up and found herself sitting on the bed, the layout of the room is completely a presidential suite. She blinked her eyes numerous times to confirm it. She pinched herself hard.

Feeling the pain she was sober. That's right! This is room 1973 of Starlight hotel, the beginning of her nightmare!

Nyla's pupils tightened. Today is her 20th birthday. As a big shot of City S, Nyla's birthday party has invited many big shots and media reporters from the whole City.

If she remembered correctly, on this night, she was given drugs and slept with Ethan which was later exposed by the media.

Even worse, her fiance's family personally witnessed the scene and called off the engagement after a few days.
