Chapter 6 Dirt Poor Judith

The next afternoon, Judith finally opened her eyes.

Her face was pale, her eyes were out of focus, and her breathing was a bit difficult.

"Judy?"

Upon hearing the call, she looked over with difficulty and saw a pair of worried eyes.

"Edgar." She narrowed her eyes and gave a sweet smile.

Edgar McDaniel pressed his third eye area, "Too bad that you still know me. It means you won't die."

Edgar was Judith's psychiatrist and a real man.

Ever since he bumped into the first attack of her bulimia, their relationship had been bumpy for three years.

Most of the time, Edgar acted as her guardian.

During the time, the medical genius was reduced to her driver, cook, ATM, part-time servant, and among other unimaginable identities, her lawyer when she caused trouble.

Thanks to her, he had to obtain dozens of certificates.

The stomachache didn't affect her venomous tongue, "Edgar, if I died, wouldn't your life be boring? Back then, you were such a nerd and little wretch."

"Heh heh... I kinda miss that nerd. At least, I wouldn't die from anger."

Ever since he met Judith, his life had been out of track and could not get back again!

"Bah, nonsense!"

Edgar thought that ingrate fully appreciated his kindness. Before he could feel gratified, her following speech shattered his illusion.

"If you are gone, who will pay the debt for me?"

"Damn!"

Edgar cursed angrily, itching to slam the door and walk away. Luckily, he didn't wrestle with the patient.

"This time, you pay for your own hospitalization! Think you that I don't know your quarterly dividends from your studio. And, settle my wage from last November to last month."

"Heh heh..."

Judith laughed dryly and guiltily. "Edgar, you're so competent that you won't need such a little amount of money, eh?" She raised her little finger and probed.

"But I do!"

Edgar sensed an unfavorable situation and asked with a spurious smile, "You came back yesterday morning. Don't tell me that you're out of money!"

"I bought an expensive motorcycle yesterday..." Her eyes suddenly glittered.

"Think you that I don't know how much that thing costs? Where's the rest of your money?"

"I bought a small gadget..." Judith raised her little finger.

Edgar took a deep breath but still failed to restrain his anger. "What gadget costs you all the money? Little wretch, did you buy gems again?"

Judith had a collecting fetish that compelled her to have every ruby in sight.

To obtain first-hand information, she founded FAIRY TALE Gemstone Studio two years ago.

Later, she made her debut as the designer of Crimson and became the most mysterious, grumpy genius in the international arena.

Rumored had it that her talent was unparalleled. In reality, she was a poor boss who often deducted the wage of her employee!

Who could be unluckier? He made no money and even lost it!

Full of grievances, Judith pouted and wiped the corners of her eyes that were free from tears, "It's so pretty that I couldn't help it. And... I maxed out your credit card..."

The air froze, and his veins popped vigorously, "One card?"

"Well... like a lot..."

"There should be a few yuan left!" She added at the sight of his sullen face.

"Judith, you wretch, I'm gonna kill you!"
