Chapter 22 Mr. Reid Felt Sick Again

There were only a few stylish bungalows in Half Life Garden. The master bedroom was at the back, and the door was facing the entire valley. It was Victor's room.

He had a cold shower, came out in a towel, casually leaned on the sofa, and looked into the distance.

Under the pale light, his body looked lean and sexy. However, he had many scars, and the most conspicuous one was at the center of his back.

Close to his heart, it was almost a fatal wound.

Victor held a cigarette between his fingers without smoking it.

No one knew what he was thinking, but he would look at the canvas shoe on the table from time to time.

It was raining outside, accompanied by lightning and thunder. Distracted, he picked up the phone and dialed a number.

At Blue Hill Clinic, Kyler went to bed at nine o'clock though he sometimes didn't regard himself as an old man.

The sudden call irritated him. Before he could lose his temper, he saw the caller ID.

"Strange, why do you suddenly call me today?"

"Well..." Did that girl go back?

Victor flicked the cigarette ash, found it embarrassing to ask, and changed the subject, "I want to do another psychological test tomorrow."

"What?"

Kyler sobered up immediately and spoke hurriedly, "Isn't your PTSD basically cured? Are you stimulated by anything? Be it an object or person, destroy it as soon as possible, period!"

Before his retirement, Victor had some mental issues.

He didn't mention the reason but cooperatively completed a psychological assessment.

His issue was diagnosed as mild PTSD which could be cured soon.

He acted normal, but there was a problem hidden.

A year and a half later, Kyler finally noticed his problem.

He had an extreme propensity for violence, control, and antisocial personality disorder.

10,000 times more dangerous than imagined, he was like a time bomb!

Appalled, Kyler thought he was giving a psychopath an assessment.

He then calmed down and began to rejoice.

If Victor's willpower was a bit weaker, there would be one more terrible psychopath and one less shrewd businessman!

His silence made Kyler anxious, "You sure about the relapse?"

"I... um..."

Victor faltered, and Kyler's heart was in his mouth, "I'm too old to take any trepidation, can you make it snappy?"

"I'm not sure."

Victor looked at his hand and knitted his brows, "I almost broke the neck of... a cat today." He didn't mention Judith.

"Damn, I thought it was a person!"

...

It was.

His stutter almost freaked Kyler out.

"A test is unnecessary. Truth be told, the more you like something, the more you want to destroy it. You're a grown-up, and it's okay that you like furry critters. Only your affection is a curse to the cat!"

...

"Piece of advice, lock it up!"

...

It was a person.

"Or you can twist and wring it! Don't scare me if it's not a person that you throttle! Bye!"

...

The phone was hung up, and Victor's third eye area popped. Still, he felt sick.

Otherwise, he wouldn't have wanted to rip Judith's heart.

At the thought of the girl, he felt parched, and the desire he stifled began to surge. It was rapid and abnormal.

"Mr. Reid..."

A pair of arms suddenly wrapped around him, and his pupils contracted abruptly.
