Chapter 15 Whose Photo
Alice walked to the door when Cindy suddenly called out, "Alice, put on my queen lipstick and get a head start!"
"Right! We'll go with you, and he won't have a chance to sweet talk!" Leah put on her green stilettos and powdered her nose.
Cindy went to pick up her handbag, torn between Chanel and Hermes.
Alice looked in the mirror, thought for a while, and then put on the popular Christian Louboutin lipstick.
With lipstick on, she looked pretty enough to impress both Cindy and Leah.
Alice's appearance was really enviable and moldable!
With no makeup on, she looked delicate, pretty, youthful, and spotless.
The lipstick alone set off her fair skin and stunning features...
In an instant, she outshone her roommates. Their only advantage was their long legs.
Cindy said with an odd expression, "Alice, I think you should wipe off the lipstick. It looks meretricious..."
Her words were against her conscience. In fact, she didn't want Alice to be the most beautiful girl when they went to see Ruben later.
Leah tacitly concurred, "Indeed."
"It's okay. This may make him shrink back and realize that I'm not as naive as he imagined!"
Alice got out of the door. After a moment of hesitation, Cindy followed in her footsteps.
Five minutes later, the three women met Ruben under a sycamore tree.
When Cindy and Leah saw his face, they were surprised rather than disappointed.
They thought he should be an ugly and short fatty.
To their surprise, he was hot.
Alice was not surprised because she had read his profile.
She despised him for packaging himself by renting a Lamborghini.
Such a vain man was just an empty shell.
Ruben was impressed to see the three women.
Sure enough, the students from the acting department were all pretty.
Then he couldn't tear his eyes away from the petite girl in the middle.
He suddenly regretted it!
Was it really wise to choose that peevish Sara over such a stunner?
Sara always put on airs and forbade him even to touch her hand.
"Alice, I finally see you in person." He laughed heartily in a faked attractive voice.
Alice was calm on the surface but emotional deep down. After all, they dated for three months. Though they hadn't even held hands, her feelings were real.
"Disappointed?" She asked blandly.
"You are naughty to send those wacky photos to me. I could hardly see your real face."
"Ruben, get over it."
"Don't you have things to clarify? Spill it out, I'm busy."
Now Alice no longer called him 'honey' and even looked at him like a stranger. The man who spent time dating her somehow felt reluctant to let go.
He laughed awkwardly, "Now that you've seen my real face, I feel obliged to explain the photos..."
"Tell me, whose pictures did you use? Your friend?"
