William relaxed his thoughts for a moment. He was hesitating how to put his thought into words but finally spoke,

“Well, before you run your thoughts wild, I Would like to make myself clear to you …”

“What is it?” Emily spoke.

William took a deep breath and said,

“I am not willing to accept this marriage at all. I have only agreed to it because of my mother. But I have no clue as to why she chooses you within a span of few days.

Look, I absolutely detest humans.

Their evilness, greedy nature makes me feel sick and I absolutely fee that I’m far better than them even if I’m a beast.

So never ever expect anything from me.

I can never give you the love which a wife expects from her husband because I don’t have a heart and never will I be able to feel it especially to humans.

I will give you as much money as you want and you can do anything as you will, but I expect that you will never cheat on me, neither will I do that.

All I can say is that, you can enjoy my power, reputation, wealth but never expect me to love you. That’s all…”

Emily was speechless after hearing this.

She is so angry especially after hearing the last sentence

“enjoy my power, reputation, wealth…..

What the hell does he think about her?

Who the hell cares about his wealth, power??

She is not a gold digger or something”

She did not know how to react or vent out her anger towards him.

After all, how could she do that!!

She is just a mere human but he is a powerful beast.

Not just powerful, but also the most powerful!!!

She calmed herself and gathered all the courage she could and said,

“Then why did you agree to this marriage??

I don’t even want to get married to you, it was you all who threatened and forced me to marry you.

I’m just 21, I have a dream of my own. I have had a life of my own. I don’t even why you wanted to marry an orphan like me.

If you were not willing to marry a human and if you hate humans so much, you could have just said that to your mother before our marriage.

I was not in a position to refuse the marriage as it was you who forced me.

Tears kept rolling down from her clear eyes.

Is that what she deserved?

A young girl dreams who had never experienced warmth in her life, hoping to find love from her prince charming were all ruined.

Even though this marriage was forced on her, she had a tiny bit of hope that she could change this man and get some love from him.

But, all these hopes were shattered by this beast and here she was arguing with this beast over her forced marriage.

William was quite for all the time.

He looked in her red tearful eyes. A small part of his heart felt guilty for what he did.

But he soon recovered as this marriage was necessary and he should do it.

But, an indescribable pain rose in his heart for a brief moment. Even he himself was not aware why. He thought it was an illusion.
