Emily replied, “Oh please, just shut up ok!!”

Leah said mischievously, “Darling, first you got married all of a sudden. And I haven’t even seen brother-in-law. Now, you are acting as if we are strangers.

Uuuuu.. I have lost my best friend!!”

On the other side Emily was holding her head with left hand and impatiently thinking of ways to appease this drama queen and finally replied,

“Will you please spare me from this drama!!

At least spare me for tonight. I will call you tomorrow.

If you dare to call me again tonight, I will not tell you a single thing. Bye!!!!”

She then hung up the phone without giving any chance for reply.

Emily knows that Leah will not call her again as Leah is gossipy by nature and for the sake of insider news, she will wait for tomorrow.

Meanwhile, William stepped out of the bathroom, changing his clothes into a black pajama, grabbed a pillow from the bed and laid down on the couch.

After getting freshen, Emily also changed into a normal dress, lay down on the soft bed and covered herself with purple silk quilt.

She turned her face towards the couch and found a handsome face closing his eyes.

He looked like a white pearl without any blemish, who is hidden in the depths of the ocean waiting for an angel to be discovered.

Somewhere deep inside her heart she was feeling a bit warm because of William’s insistence to sleep on the sofa.

Did he do it because of a little bit of care? Or was it just for formality?

Only god knows!!

But suddenly she remembers something and jumps off the bed and said,

“Aren’t you cold? You can take the quilt or can you ask someone to give another?”

William replied without opening his eyes,

“I don’t need a quilt. My body doesn’t feel any cold or heat.

Besides, if I ask someone to give another, what will they think??

A newly married couple is sharing two quilts on their wedding night??”

Emily felt like someone hit harshly on her head…

Why is she acting like a stupid!!!

She should have considered this!!!

She replied nervously, “Yeah… Got it… Goodnight...”

She went back to sleep, turning her back to the couch.

Then, William slowly opened his eyes, looked up to the bed only to find her back.

He frowned and thought,

So many women are dying just to look at my face for once…”

He told to himself,
