Time flew pass real quick. It has being a week since they got here and she hasn't stepped her foot out of this house.

It has being her mom going out and coming back with stuffs they needed, like clothes bags groceries furniture and all that, she knows half of the savings her dad left was gone already.

Her dad was a cop. A good cop, like you know we have good and bad cop right? Well her dad was one of the good and un~corrupt cop and also the unfortunate one.

He was killed while trying dig out some dirt. He went out that night cause he got a call from his college from work that they've found out some lead on some case, Arianna could remember that night clearly, she was 16.

She could remember her dad's smiling face that evening before he went out and the next morning, her mom receive a call that he was found dead in the woods of draclyn.

They all ruled it animal attack, Skylar knew that was all lie, there weren't any wild animals in Draclyn, her dad was Murdered.

She was sure of that, her mom was sure of that.

But they didn't listen to them and buried everything.

Fucking stupid Draclyn.

If not for her crush.... she wouldn't miss that stupid town one bit.

Digging her spoon inside her bowl of waffles, she brought it to her mouth.

She could hear the front door opened and her mom walked in with another bag of stuffs they needed

"Welcome mama" she said quietly as Elisabeth sat down while dropping the bag on the floor

"I swear to god Sky these people are crazy they don't fucking speak English i had to crack my brain for some of the fucking Norway language" she blurted out as I burst out laughing spilling some of the waffles on the kitchen counter.

"Really Sky?"

"Sorry mama, but i told you didn't i? Now i have to go fucking learn some fucking language in other to study in their fucking college"

"No swear words in my house young lady!" Elisa spat

"Fine" ar

I grumbled.

"You're starting university tomorrow, you will go and arrange everything, your schedules and all the other stuffs, they speak English at the school so you don't have to worry too much"

"Tomorrow? Am starting tomorrow? I thought we arranged on next week! I haven't even shopped for my clothes"

"I did already"

"And my hoodie?? Did you buy them?"

"Of course i did, different designs, i don't even know why you like red hoodie so much"

"Cause red is dad favourite and he got me my very first red hoodie" I replied softly.

Elisa stood up taking the bags with her. It's being two years since he died but she can still feel the void her dear husband left.

"Am sorry mama didn't mean......

"It's okay just get ready for tomorrow " Mom said cutting me off.

"It's almost night go freshen up and i will make dinner for us"

"Like you're going to make dinner for just yourself" I said chuckling while taking the empty bowl to the sink and heading upstairs to my room.

Elisabeth was lost in her thoughts,

She and dave was really close, they dated right from school till they graduated. His death still feels strange to her. He promised to be back but what happened??

He left and never came back.

tears rolled down her eyes as she sniffles and sob silently not wanting Sky to hear her.

But Skylar saw her already. Standing in the middle of the stairs as she watched her mom cried silently.

Her dad might have left them but he still lives in their heart to cherish for ever.
