Gomez pov

I arrive at my boss house and her butler welcome me into the house. I walk to the living room and Mrs Arthur slowly walks down the stairs in her stylish outfit.

Now that a fashion designer I said drooling over the cloth she was wearing, mine is nothing compared to hers.

She hugs me

“Thank goodness you are here I have been waiting for you, have a sit I have something to discuss with you," she said while we both sit on the couch opposite each other.

“How are you now" she asks me in a polite manner

“Am fine much better" I replied

“My sincere apologies for making you expose to rain yesterday."

“No it's not your fault when I went outside there was no sign that it was going to rain"

“So about the Los Angeles project I told you the other day I think you are going to execute it tonight" she said with a smile

“What do you mean by executing it tonight"

“It's not an actual project, it's more like personal stuff I lied to you at work that it was a project because of the other employees you know I like you" she said

“I know and what do you liking me have to do with the project"

“you are going to Los Angeles tomorrow, I have arranged for your flight ticket she fluttered her lashes

“why the hurry ma, I ask

“The truth is, I think you are a great match for my son and I like you a lot, I want you to go to Los Angeles tomorrow and apply as his PA" she smirk

“Really?"

“Yes and the interview is tomorrow morning I want you to land the job, my son hasn't had a girlfriend before because he is always at work and never looking at any girl and am already old I don't think I will get to see him with my grandchild." She frowned

“Don’t say that, maybe he secretly have a girlfriend I muttered

“I have sent someone to spy on him once but he caught the person, he doesn't have a girlfriend he takes his job too seriously even more than marrying he is 30 years old."

“I think he must be gay" I suggested

“He can't be gay, he is the son I raised"

“So you want me to be his secretary just to be his girlfriend?"

“Yes, so he can think of getting married soon"

“How are you sure, he will employ me and he will be attracted to me?" I ask curiously

“I don't know but I want you to try" Mrs Arthur said holding my hand firmly

“But am too young to think about marriage."

Authoress pov

“You are young and that's good and I will like you to be my daughter-in-law Don't worry I will cover up your feedings and apartment in Los Angeles I just need you to get close to my son and find out why he is being like this, I will bribe his secretary to employ you."

“I will reply to you tonight when I have finished discussing with my mum, cos I don't think she will like the idea of me going away from her."

“Okay here is your flight ticket send it back to me if you change your mind about going" Mrs Arthur said with a sad expression

“I will go now bye take care don't stress yourself too much" Gomez said walking out the house.

“Wait, my driver will drop you at home" Mrs Arthur stated

“Okay thank you" Gomez said as the driver escort her out of the house.

Minutes later Gomez arrive at home.

She walks to her mum's room

“Mum I have something to tell you" she said flaunting the flight ticket.

“What's that?"

“Its flight ticket to Los Angeles tomorrow" Gomez replied

“Really? Is the project tomorrow"

“Yes mum but I don't think I will come back to Florida early"

“Why darling" Mrs Cole said holding Gomez close to her chest

“Because am not going for a project am going there for Mrs Arthur's son, she wants me to get close to him and be his girlfriend."

“OMG why you?" Mrs Cole ask with a shocked expression

“Because she likes me and he has never had a girlfriend before"

“Really why hasn't he?"

“She doesn't know either, but I think he is gay but she says he is just a workaholic."

“So she wants you to get close to him because she likes you"

“Yes mum and am willing to do it for her"

“You are so close with your boss more than I am jealous"

“Don’t be mum, you know you are my first love" Gomez said and give her mum a slight kiss on the cheek

“So are you going?

“I haven't given her my reply yet but she left the flight ticket with me"

“You can go my mum" said trying to hide her expression

“You can't pretend in front of me mum" Gomez said trying to see her face

“I can't be a hindrance to your dream, you always wanted to go to Los Angeles now that you have the opportunity I think you should grab it because ever since she tells you about the project in Los Angeles you have been talking about it forever"

“Really no I haven't"

“Yes you have" Mrs Cole said smiling

“Okay mum I will go, I will be calling you every day I won't stay long in Los Angeles I promise and I won't give you a chance to miss me."

“Thanks, darling, you need to start packing now" Mrs Cole said leading Gomez out of her room

They both walk to Gomez room packing the clothes into her travelling bag.

“You can't take all your clothes, they won't fit in your bag" Mrs Cole teased

“I know mum, do you expect designers clothes to be little" Gomez replied

“I wish you will consider modelling, you have the shape and all." Mrs Cole muttered

“But mum am sewing clothes for models I can't be the two of them." Gomez muttered
