Lisa POV

So yea , we are currently at the bus-terminal where the bus meant to take us to the retreat was supposed to take off & I think it ll be appropriate to say we are stranded.

“Lisa,what are we going to do.” Gwen cried out.

“we won’t be here if not for a certain person!.” Iris said glaring daggers at Gwen.

This is how we got here , we all went for shopping , apparently my definition of shopping was going to the mall & just buying the necessary items I needed , but Gwen’s definition was a whole lot different.

she bought clothes & shoes & bags & under-wears and many more irrelevant things .

While waiting , me & Iris decided to get some snacks , luckily time was still on our side (so we thought ).

Time of departure was 6pm and this was just 4 , well so we thought.

“how was I supposed to know they shifted the time to earlier!” Gwen cried out again .

The time of departure was shifted to 4:30 , they announced it on the group chat , but we were too busy in the mall we forgot to even check our phones .

“hey guys c’mon , it’s not anybody’s fault , let’s just think of a solution now.” I said trying to calm them down .

I took my phone to call my mom ,but the signal was bad.

“calls won’t get through easily here Lis,this is the end of the district,network connection is usually bad.” Iris said tiredly.

“alright then,we ll just wait for a taxi to drive through.” I said .

“I doubt that though , its almost 7,we won’t see one that easily.”Iris said.

“well we can’t just stand here , it’s getting real chilly.” I said rubbing my arms .

I looked down the road where we came from.

“how long do u think it ll take to walk back to the district entrance?” I asked.

“probably 15 mins.” Gwen answered.

“alright then , I will walk back to the entrance and bring a taxi to come take us while you guys stay here with our luggage.” I explained.

“really? , you aren’t gonna try to escape right?” Gwen asked raising one of her eyebrows at me.

“as much as I want to , I can’t , I have come this far already , moreover my bags are with you .” I sighed.

“alright then , we ll be waiting.” Iris said .

I took my smaller purse & started walking down the road .

Gwen POV

I really hope Lisa can get a taxi , this is all my fault , I really feel bad.

“Gwenny , don’t feel bad , and I’m sorry for snapping at u earlier.” Iris held my hands smiling .

I smiled back.

Just then we saw a car coming , it slowed down & stopped when it reached us , the window was let down & the driver appeared.

Danny Pierce? , What is he doing around here , does he live around here?.

He came down from his car & Walked towards us .

“hey , you guys are Lisa’s friend right , Iris & Gwen? , what are you doing her?” He asked.

“oh well , we missed the bus & we are waiting for Lisa , she went to get a taxi.” I explained .

“uhh , ok , but if u want I can give u a ride though.” he said

“really? , ok , just let me see if I can call Lis.” I said dialling Lisa’s number hoping it goes through .

It rings & she picks, phew!

“Lisa , where are u? , Danny just drove by & offered to give us a ride.” I explained.

“oh , ok.” Then i hung up.

“she said we can go that she’s about to enter the taxi , she ll meet us at Bora instead.” I told Iris & Danny .

PS; Bora is the name of the area where the resort for the retreat is located .

“ok then ladies , shall we?” Danny said assisting us to put our luggages in the trunk .

I noticed a light shade of pink on Iris cheek & I don’t know if it’s from the cold or because she has a crush on Danny.

I grinned to myself , we all entered the car & he drove off .

Lisa POV

“Here you are miss , Bora.” The driver said .

I paid him & got out of the car.

I started walking not actually knowing what I was looking for , isn’t there supposed to be a sign or something?.

I saw a girl probably around my age , she was taking a stroll perhaps .

“Excuse me please , is there a crescent resort around here?.” I asked her .

“no , this is a GRA.” she snapped at me & continued walking .

eish what’s with the attitude?.

wait !!! a GRA !!!.

I’m supposed to be in a district , the resort is located in a district .

I looked up & saw the welcome to BORA GRA sign.

Goddammit! , the man totally misunderstood.

I was going to BORA DISTRICT , well I guess it’s my fault for not specifying .

I started walking not even sure of what I was doing .

I definitely couldn’t see a taxi now , it’s also kind of a Lonely road , I could count the cars that have passed so far ,none .

I took my phone ,so I could call Gwen & Iris , but the battery was out

“really!” I groaned .

This is it ,I’m definitely lost now & I’m so cold.

I could feel small drops of water on my skin. I looked to see the cloud gloomy & drizzling ,perfect! .

Nature decides to punish me even more , this was definitely not the right time to be putting on a skimpy sundress.

I rubbed down my arms to generate heat ,not that it worked though.

Fog was beginning to form , but I could still see the headlights of a car approaching from a distance.

I started waving my hands like a crazy fellow , really hoping the driver would stop .

“hey!hey!” I continued waving ,the car suddenly stops .
