One month went off just like that.

Lillian has completed her exams. She has performed quite well, and she is sure that she will get good grades.

Vivian also works hard day and night without having proper meals.

After one month, Lillian got her results, and she got good grades.

Her mother is also happy with her.

Then Lillian decided that she would apply for a job.

Her mother is happy. She wished that Lillian grab a good job and settle down in life.

Olivia applied for higher studies in another city.

Lillian and Olivia met each other at the coffee shop.

Olivia felt that they had to go out for a change.

All these days they are tired from exams and results.

So, they thought they would take a break.

Olivia ordered her cold coffee.

Lillian ordered her hot coffee.

Alicia said, "hey, finally we are graduates now. I have applied for further education in B city."

Lillian smiled and said, "congratulations Olivia. You should give me a big party before you've to B city."

Olivia looked at her deeply and said, "Lillian, are you happy. I mean, you are better than me in your studies. then why don't you go for further education."

Lillian shook her head and said, "No, Olivia. as I have already said, I don't want to pursue further education. All I want is a good job, with which I will take care of my mother happily. You know as soon as I get the job, I will make mother resign her job and give her complete rest."

"She has worked for me enough. So, I think it is my turn to keep her happy."

Olivia nodded her head and said, "I know. You are a stubborn woman. Anyway, I know that I cannot change your decision. But I can help you with the job."

"One of the big companies in this city is hiring junior architects. I think you should apply. I am forwarding you the email. It is the email of the human resource manager. She will help you with the job."

She said this and took her phone. She forwarded the email ID.

As Lillian is not interested in further studies, so she thought she will help with her job.

Lillian opened her phone and saw the email.

She said, "thank you. I will surely apply for this job. Thanks for helping."

Olivia said, "Lillian, don't say like that. If you ever have any problem and need my help, you can call me without hesitation. I would always be there for you. Okay."

Lillian felt very warm in her heart.

She said, "Sure, Olivia. In this world, after my mother, it is only you whom I had."

They had a good time together.

After that, Lillian went to her home.

She sent her profile to the email which Olivia had sent.

After two days, she got a reply to that email.

She got an interview letter for one of the vacancies in a company.

Lillian felt very happy. She is very excited and nervous too.

The company she is getting interviewed for is a top company in A city. If she could bag a job in this one, her life would be good.

Vivian came from her work. As usual, Lillian has done all the household work before she returned back home.

As soon as she came Lillian went to her excitingly.

She said, "Mom, I have one good piece of news for you."

Vivian kept her bag on the table and said, "What is that?"

She did not understand what has just happened between her going to the job and returning.

Lillian said, "Mom, I got one interview letter. You know that I have applied for a job right. They have called me to attend the interview."

Vivian also became very happy. She said, "Great Lillian. I am happy for you."

"But baby, don't get disappointed if you are not selected for the job. I mean you will have a lot of opportunities in the future okay."

Her mother knew about her daughter. she is very sensitive. So, she was worried that if she did not get selected she will get upset.

Lillian smiled and said, "Mom, think positively, don't think negatively."

"I am sure that I can crack the interview. But even if I cant I am okay with it."

They both had their dinner. Vivian went to sleep.

Lillian said that she is not tense but she is very nervous.

It is her first interview. How can she not be nervous?

She was preparing the whole night and only slept when she got tired.

The next day Lillian woke up before her mother.

She took bath and got ready to go to the interview.

She took the bus and reached the interview place.

She is very nervous and sweat is forming on her forehead.

She entered the building and went to the floor where the interviews are going on.

One person showed her the way and told her to wait in the room.

She thought she will be five to six people who will appear for the interviews. But no, there are more than thirty people for six positions.

After seeing this Lillian got tenser.

After waiting for a few minutes, they called for the interview one by one.

Each one is going inside and coming back with a sad face. There is no smile on their face.

Lillian began to worry more. she wants to just get up from there and go away to home.

She does not have hope that she will get the job. But her inner intentions were telling that she at least have to try even if she cannot impress them.

She was stuck between the two thoughts.

In the meanwhile, the person called her.

Now it is her turn.

She took her profile papers and nervously went to the room.

She stood outside and knocked on the door. She said, "Can I come in, mam?"

From inside there came a voice of a woman, "Please come in."
