ALARIC'S POV

   Today's is Mira's eighteenth birthday and I can't help but freak out. It's such an unbelievable thing that I waited for 6 years to make sure I let her grow to be an official adult and then have her as my luna. Even Apex my wolf won't stop jumping around and begging to come out.

   Well I wish I can but I don't want to, I can't let him out when I know he sometimes use the mind of his own. I won't be surprised if he decides to run in his wolf form to our mate's place of work just to scare her to death.

   It's been 6 good years and I haven't been to see my people, sometimes I feel like I should just ignore them and let them suffer and another time I want to let my brothers see that I am still be the Alpha king they don't want me to be.

    Till today, I wonder why the moon goddess made me the leader over my elders. If only she had relax and decided my fate, I would have still be in the palace in my pack with my parents and whole family in peace.

   First thing first, I need to go see my mate. Even when she doesn't know that I am her mate yet, I will make sure she is fine for me alone.

   'For you and me' Apex corrected me.

  A faint smile cracked across my face as I walked away from the balcony of my house to get dressed in one of my favorite attires. Since I ran at the age of 20, I had always leaved with the little my dad taught me. I had leaved by working first now I have my little company where I have the whole world at my pack.

   Getting into my car, I contemplated if I should just run out and maybe get to order a lift on my way back. My wolf hardly exercise and I know that it seriously needs it. But still, as my lazy legs would have it, I decided to use one of my cars.

    Getting to my mate's Place of work, my favorite spot had been taken. Weird enough, they don't look cool like regular humans. They look like something carved out form the dark or something made from black because everything they wore was black.

   Their is something about the scent in the atmosphere but I still wanted to ignore it. Regularlly, I see werewolfs come and go and nothing unusual happen.

    'They want to be like you' Apex grinned.

   He knew they were pissing me off as they raised their heads up for me to see their faces. My gaze fixed with theirs for a while as I search their memories from where I stood. My fist clenched as I remained my ground, not now.

   My eyes roam round the place as I get look for another empty seat before getting to focus. Today is my mate's birthday for crying out loud, if there should be anything different, it should be my mate happy and hugging me for the first time.

  I noticed Apex jump inside me, since the first time we met out mate, he always want to have our hands around her and sniff her hair. He had missed her lovely smell, the only smell that seems to calm his nerves.

   'They are from our pack!' Apex suddenly said dryly 'What do you think? Should we ignore them' he paused for a while for me to think about what to do 'They know you!' He added.

    I know I am not doing the wrong thing if I ignore them. After all I am their Alpha, even if I am not yet crowned, the grace from the moon goddess is still upon me and I still have The late Luna's ring, without that, they can't get the next Alpha much more Alpha king.

    With a low growl, I moved a step forward, heading towards the free seat when Xander rushed to my front. He bowed slightly and pointed at the people staying on my seat.

    A faint smile spread across my clueless face, the way I classified the chair as mine even made Apex laugh. It was like I had bought the chair with my own money or carried it from my home to the place.

   "Those are the elders of our pack" Xander said "Please Alpha, find some spare time to see what they have to say even if it's for once"

     I stared at Xander blankly for some time not knowing what to do. Deep down I want to know what had brought them all the way from the woods in Silver Linings pack to where the human lives.

    'Let's see what they have' Apex said  'You never can tell what will happen '

   With my shoulders high, and a brief silent I walked over to them. It's just so funny how they had decided to be on all black and even covered their face so they won't be discovered.

   Immediately I sat, the three men stood up, They bowed slightly and set back. Xander didn't take his seat, the only chair vacancy is the one close to me. I knew he was scared but keeping him standing would make people stare at us and the last thing I want is unnecessary attention.

    With the lazy wave of my left palm, I ordered him to seat and he did so immediately. It feels do good to gain power back, especially when all hope is on you.

   With the long looks on their faces, I assume they want help. Not just small help, they are in deep trouble and they want help. Good thing I love about my powers, I can read minds, control minds and erase minds as well.

    "What made you think that I would follow you all, My elders" I said.

     They looked at themselves confused, it could be that they had been with the wrong leaders for so long that they forgot what the Aloha king can do. Getting tired of their lazy silent, I shifted uncomfortably on my chair and pressed the button at the middle of the table.

   Sweet technology, I don't have to shout, I only have to beep and someone come to make my dry order. Knowing that person would be my Mate, I grinned and folded my arms across my chest waiting for reply from both her and the elders.

    "Your pack is in danger" One of them said "It's something we can't handle that's why all the elders of the four clan selected four of us to come find you" he paused.

   My brows connected, if they just said four how come the last person is not here.

   "The last person is outside, watching in case your rogue brothers had send any of his people" Another of them said.

     Silently, I waited for them to explain their pains. Since I left, my rogue brothers took each of my father's clan and rules as Alpha when they are not. If anyone tried to talk, he or she gets killed with his family.

    Even without anything, I know this would happen. I know the people would not want rogues as Alpha especially when the moon goddess didnt call them.

    Apex jumped and I know our mate had come to take out order, as usual, I told her Black coffee without sugar. Even as she left, I noticed the elders would not stop looking at the luna's tattoo on her wrist.

   If they continue, they might get distracted from the main mission. They can be forced to tell about her and she might be in danger and I won't have it so I asked what they have been waiting for.

    "When do we leave for the pack?" I asked.
