Chapter 5 Owe a hundred million

"Screech!" a luxurious Maybach stopped at the gate.

A pair of slender legs stepped down from the car. An expensive Italian tailor-made suit revealed the owner's nobility and extraordinariness, and the light emitted by a pair of dark brown eyes shocked everyone at present, causing many of them to exclaim.

"It's the third son of the Williams family, so handsome!"

"He has a good shape."

Getting out of the elevator after completing the entry formality, Willow saw the cold faced man coming forward, and said to herself, "Uh-ah, a handsome man."

The surrounding atmosphere didn't stop her. She walked out of the hall calmly.

Standing in the slowly rising elevator, Charles looked livid. Gazing the receding figure of Taylor in the distance made him inexplicably annoyed.

How dare the woman ignore his existence? Five years ago, she left somehow. Thinking of this, Charles pulled his necktie fretfully.

Secretary Lee smelt his anger and hurriedly whispered to him, "Maybe Willow did not recognize you just now."

"Did not recognize me or ignored me on purpose?"

Willow stopped a taxi. When she was about to return to her apartment, her phone rang. It was her grandpa's phone number.

But it was the urgent voice of Uncle John, the steward, "My lady, your grandfather fell sick. He is now in the hospital. Please come over immediately!"

After hearing this, Willow's face turned pale. She took a cab to the hospital instantly.

In the Imperial Hospital.

Willow fainted when the doctor came out with a death report. When she woke up, it was very noisy in the corridor.

"Oh, you are awake now, my lady. The doctor said that you were so sad and shocked that you faint. You need to restraint your grief!"

"Uncle John, what are those people doing outside?"

"They are customers and shareholders of the company. They came to collect debts when they learned of the death of Mr. Taylor. Linda and her parents all hid away outside!"

"Grandpa's company was good before, why was it in debt now?"

"Thanks for Sam and those working with him. They did business with someone, but somehow were trapped and lost a lot of money overnight and caused the company to owe a large amount of money to the bank. The company's stock price to drop dramatically because of all these. Mr. Taylor was so angry that he had a heart attack, then unexpectedly... "Uncle John said, choking for a moment.

"Uncle John, how much does the company owe?"

"About 100 million yuan."

Willow was shocked when she heard this astronomical figure. While abroad, she had faintly heard about the crisis of her grandfather's company, but did not expect such a serious situation.

After Willow's mother died, her grandfather was her closest relative. She thought it was her duty to protect her grandfather's honor now that he was gone.

"Uncle John, please go to tell them that I will definitely pay back every coin to them and asked them a few day's grace."

"Yes, my lady."

"Uncle John!"

"Anything else?"

"How much property are there under my grandfather's name?"

"All the property under his name was taken by Sam to pay the debt with discounted prices. The house we live in was also mortgaged to the bank."

In the next few days, Willow was running around for fundraising. Her grandfather's friends all refused to see her. But the last call she despairingly made gave her a ray of hope.

Mike, the loan officer of a bank, had previously cooperated with the company several times. He asked her to meet at the Bule Water Club in the afternoon. Although she didn't know the result, for Willow, hope was better than despair.

At 3 pm, Willow came to the reserved box in the club as promised.

She was a little nervous and paused at the box door.

She observed her appearance. With a light and delicate makeup and in off-white simple suit, she looked mature and elegant. After she felt ready, she opened the door and walked in.

A man in his forties was sitting on the sofa wearing gold-rimmed glasses, with a half-burnt cigarette in his right hands.

"Are you Uncle Brown? I am Willow. We talked on the phone before." Willow made a brief self-introduction.

Astonishment flashed through Mike's face when he saw the woman in front of him.

He had heard earlier that Bill Taylor's granddaughter was a beauty, but he never wanted to be so amazing.

Mike stood up, poked the remaining half of the cigarette into the ashtray, then reached for Willow and let her sit beside him. Then he poured a glass of wine with a smile on his face.

"Miss Taylor, I am so sorry for the death of your grandfather. But don't worry. I am willing to help you if you have any difficulties."

With that said, his hand rested on Willow's shoulder.

Willow held back her unhappiness. After all, she wanted something from him.

She took out files about the company from her bag and handed it to Brown, and, by the way, got rid of the hand on her shoulder.

"Uncle Brown, here are some of the documents I prepared for the loan. Please have a look, and tell me if I need more else paperwork."

"This is not urgent. Let's get acquainted first!" Mike threw the papers away, then slowly reaching her legs.

"Clap!" a slap on Brown's face, loud and clear.
