>Girlfriend? For Hire!>Chapter 32
Chapter 32
Aiden's Point of View
Yeah, let's both calm down first and just talk later again when we were both okay.
When I opened the rooftop door, I was surprised to see the three standing there. They almost fell which startled me.
Did they stick their ear on the door to hear what we were talking about?
"Are you done talking?" Yuan asked.
"We didn't hear anything, promise!" Jacob promised. He actually raised his right hand as if swearing.
As if I would believe him.
"Let's go eat ice cream, Aiden," Hans smiled. He came to me and pulled me out of there without a word.
I almost tripped because of how fast he ran. No one is even chasing us.
"Wait, Hans!" I pulled away from him when I felt short of breath.
"Shh! It’s my treat, okay? Just join me for ice cream, because I suddenly craved it," he replied.
Instead of struggling, I just kept quiet and silently joined him. Ice cream can also help to calm down.
While Hans pulled me, I wiped my tears. Maybe it's not obvious that I cried, right? Or is it obvious because they saw and heard us?
Never mind. I'll just eat some ice cream first and talk to Wyatt later. I will apologize to him. I hope when I talk to him he will be okay and his head will have calmed down.
After Hans and I bought ice cream, we stayed for a while at the ice cream shop to finish the ice cream we bought there. I thought he dragged me to the ice cream shop to force me to tell him what happened between Wyatt and me, what we fought about and why I cried. But he just remained silent and didn't ask me anything. Every time our eyes meet, he just smiles and turns his eyes to the other.
I didn't ask why he dragged me there if he wasn't going to ask. Maybe he really just wants to help me calm my chest down.
I was very thankful to him. He's such a good friend. If you think that his mind is pure nonsense, it is not. He can be caring too. Maybe he is kind to me because he sees me as his brother like he said before. I'm grateful for that.
"Thank you," I said. We are almost at the classroom and I want to thank him before we go inside.
"Thank you for what?" He looked at me.
"Nothing! Just thank you," I answered and entered the room ahead of him.
When I went inside, Wyatt and I met our eyes. I was the first to look away. I'm ashamed because I feel like I was the reason for the argument between the two of us earlier. Because I'm too forceful. If I hadn't forced him to answer my question, we wouldn't have argued. Our conversation ended up in a fight.

Class is over for the day. My classmates also came out of our room, Hans, Jacob and Yuan went out first until Wyatt and I were the only ones left in the classroom. Wyatt was putting away his things when I approached him. I touched the hem of his uniform causing him to look back at me.
Before he could take his eyes off me, I spoke, "Sorry. Sorry, Wyatt... I was pushy earlier. Sorry, if it wasn't because of me we won't end up fighting."
He took a deep breath. He faced me and touched my cheeks, "I made you worry. So, I'm at fault, too. Sorry."
I bit my bottom lip to stop crying. He noticed that so he immediately buried my face in his neck. He hugged me tightly as if he didn't want to let me go.
"I love you," he mumbled.
I nodded, "Yeah... And I love you, too."

The next day Wyatt and I went to school together again. When we got to the classroom, I went out to pee while our professor was not there. I was going back to the room when I noticed that there were many people around the classroom.
I frowned as I thought about the possible reason why they were there. Other than Wyatt, what other reason?
"Excuse me," I said to the people in the way.
I was sweating when I got back inside the classroom. I really struggled just to get back. Goodness, aren't there any profs passing through here? Do they not notice the students here? They didn't even tell them to get back to their classes.
This is the hard part when you have a popular classmate at school.
"Why are you so shocked? Don't you miss me?"
A woman's voice caught my attention while I was panting in front of the door. My brows furrowed when I realized that she looked familiar. However, my world seemed to stop and my heart raced rapidly when I saw her talking to Wyatt.
I think Wyatt noticed me when I entered the room because he wasn't looking at the girl, he was looking at me. He seemed to be having a hard time there. It seemed like he wanted me to take him out of there.
I looked at his friends to see what they were doing, but it seemed like they didn't know what to do, either. They were just sitting there with their heads down as if they lost in the game.
"Hey, is she Wyatt's rumored girlfriend?" -girl #1
"I don't know? The girl in the picture has curly hair, but that girl has straight hair." -girl #2
"Gosh, is this for real? Does Wyatt really have a girlfriend?" -girl #3
"Hey," the woman waved her hand in front of Wyatt's face. "Where are you looking?" After she asked that, she followed where Wyatt's eyes were looking. Then, he saw me. "Oh, your best friend!" She waved her hand and walked towards me, "It's me, Agleen. How are you? You're Aiden, right?"
"Oh, uhm..." I don't know what to say. I don't really know her name. What I know is that she was dating Wyatt before. Yeah, she was the one I was talking about; the first and last girlfriend of Wyatt.
I looked at Wyatt. He's now walking towards us.
He grabbed the woman's elbow, "Don't talk to him."
The woman named Agleen chuckled, "What? Why? I'm just trying to know how he was doing."
"Don't talk to him," he said one more time.
"Are you jealous?" Then she giggled.
Wow, what's this? Are they filming something?
I smirked. Just wow. They actually chose to talk in front of me.
I took my eyes off them and decided to go back to my seat. I was about to walk when Wyatt stopped me.
I turned to him, "What?" I asked from a cold tone.
"Let's talk later, okay?"
"Okay," I answered and went back to my seat. While Wyatt pulled Agleen out of the scene.
Damn. What now? His ex-girlfriend came back. What would be my role in his life now? Damn it.
