Chapter 6 Deliberate Matching Outfits

Alison felt helpless.

Didn't you say you had no time to change it?

She was mentally tired, "I thought you didn't have time to change it..."

The man ran his eyes across her blue blouse and curled up his lips, "Let's go."

In the driver's seat, Zedd felt relieved and stepped on the accelerator to speed off.

He wanted to shout out to the whole world that his boss fell in love and even learned from little couples to wear matching outfits. He was forced to switch shirts with his boss. It turned out... ha-ha...

Zedd didn't dare to laugh out because he felt tension from the back seats.

He glanced at the rearview mirror and saw the lady was leaning to the side...

Hmm, his boss was despised...

"Pull over."

At Jason's cold order, Zedd braked, "Mr. Moore..."

"Buy a scald ointment from the pharmacy." Instructed Jason.

"Yes, sir."

After Zedd got off, Alison touched her still red index finger, "It's okay and not blistered."

Jason sounded nonchalant, "We'll go to the big mansion for dinner this afternoon. I don't want grandpa to see it and think that I bullied you."

"Oh."

Alison hummed and got an inexplicable feeling in her heart.

Under the depressing atmosphere, Alison turned her head, looked out of the window, and happened to see Zedd coming out of the pharmacy. The man looked different from her glimpse of him in the morning. He changed into a blue shirt, which meant...

Alison couldn't help but purse her lips and snicker.

Jason noticed her petty action, arched his pretty eyebrow, and involuntarily tapped his knee with his finger.

After the ointment was applied, her finger felt much better and cool. The swelling also subdued gradually.

"Thanks." Alison expressed her sincere gratitude.

"Mm." Jason took it for granted.

The car started and headed to the Civil Affairs Bureau. Two hours later, Alison got the marriage certificate that represented pledge.

At the door of the Civil Affairs Bureau, the tall man narrowed his eyes, "I'm going to the hospital for a reexamination. Wait here, Adela will send someone to pick you up."

"No need to bother Adela, I've made an appointment with a friend and will meet around here." Alison paused, "Well, are you sure you don't need me to go with you to the hospital?"

"No." Jason replied, "Don't forget to go to the big mansion for dinner tonight."

"Okay." Alison nodded before watching Jason get in the car and leave.

The black Maybach looked a bit dazzling under the sun, and Alison felt it unreal.

...

In the car, Jason was fiddling with the red marriage certificate. The woman in the photo wore light makeup and curled up her lips slightly. Her face looked pretty, and her eyes were shiny.

He casually ordered, " Zedd, check Alison Clark's background."

"Alison?" Zedd was surprised, "Madam's name is Alison Clark?"

"Mm, why?"

"Do you remember Zither, one of the clothing companies we negotiated for acquisition recently?"

"Didn't the deal fail?"

"Yes, Zither's hardware and software don't quite meet our acquisition criteria, but there is an excellent designer there. Our design director really wants to poach her."

Zedd looked in high spirits, "The coincidental part is that the name of the designer is Alison Clark!"

Jason arched his pretty brow, "And?"

"Our design director offered twice the salary and all the group's benefits, but Miss. Clark didn't agree to jump ship." Zedd looked incredulous, "Do you know why?"

Noticing the displeasure in the eyes of his boss, Zedd gave up the suspense and got to the point.

"According to Miss. Clark, Zither discovered her talent, so she would follow the company forever!"

Jason began to suspect that Alison was really dumb.

"But I'm not sure if this is the same person."

Zedd jabbered again, "There are too many people in this world who share the same names. In the hospital where you are treated, I found another one bearing your name."
