Chapter 4 Making a Deal with Him
The wound was in the abdomen, Felix had to lie down to get the bullet out, but if he lay flat he could not see Susie's movements, so he padded the pillow higher and could barely see her.
Susie's hands were slightly trembling, even if she had experienced such a tragic past life, she was just a bit more bold and thoughtful, not a doctor after all.
Felix could see Susie's fear, and his voice brought a little bit of warmth with it, soothing her in a small voice, "Don't be afraid, no harm was done, just take out the bullet and stop the bleeding in time."
However, Susie was still not at ease, "Is it really all right? I don't want to hurt you."
Felix's expression suddenly went cold, "I won't joke with my life."
Susie agreed, so she took a few deep breaths, and gave herself a mental construction over and over in her heart, then said with a firm attitude, "Okay, then I'll really do it."
The sharp scalpel cut through the skin, and the blood that came out of the pool stimulated Susie's senses, her hands trembled harder and harder, and she had the urge to throw the knife away at any moment.
Felix's face was white and frightening, cold sweat had already wet the pillow, but he made an effort to pull up a smile and softly soothe Susie's emotions, "Don't be afraid, it will soon pass."
It was obvious that Felix was the one who was injured, yet he still tried to comfort Susie, which made her a bit embarrassed, plus his voice seemed to have a magical power, which really made her slowly calm down.
Felix felt that his vision was getting blurred and his consciousness was not so clear, his body's strength seemed to have been drained and he could no longer hold the gun, so he simply put it down and prepared to contact John with his mobile phone.
"I know you, Master Brook." Susie also found that Felix's condition was not quite right, she was afraid that he would not be able to support himself in pain and fall into a coma, so she intentionally distracted him.
"Who are you?" Felix sobered up in an instant as expected, and the hand that held the cell phone in one fell swoop, immediately picked up the gun and aimed it at Susie.
"The Sharp family, Susie Sharp." Susie did not plan to hide it either, "It's just a small clan that isn't in the top tier, I was lucky enough to meet you once at a wine party last year."
"The Sharp family?" Felix thought for a moment, there was indeed such a clan in Summer City, and it was indeed only a small clan in front of the Brook family, but it wasn't considered inferior in Summer City.
"I heard that the you were not married, I wonder if you have a girlfriend?" Susie had not heard of Felix having a girlfriend when she was Kate, but it was possible that he hid deeply.
Judging from tonight's situation, there should still be an unknown side to Felix, so that hiding a girlfriend was also possible, thus she had to ask about it, as she wanted to make a deal with him.
She had thought a lot all the way over. A plan had been formed in her mind earlier, but whether or not the plan was a success would basically depend on her negotiation with Felix, if the plan worked, then her revenge would be half the effort.
"What are you asking this for?" Felix was very unhappy, even if Susie had met him before, then this kind of personal question should not be something she could ask, right?
"Lord, please don't think too much, I just want to make a deal with you, so just explore your bottom first." Susie said, and the movement in her hand did not stop.
"What's the deal?" Felix noticed that his consciousness was a bit clearer than before and that feeling of wanting to drift off to sleep was a bit weaker after talking with Susie.
"If the you don't have a girlfriend currently, then I wonder if you mind having a legal wife?" Susie had almost done and started disinfecting the tweezers.
"You want to marry me?" Seeing that Susie not only took advantage of his danger, but also treated the marriage as a deal, Felix was furious and said disdainfully, "Just you? Worthy to marry me?"
