Chapter 4. My Name is Diana Wood
Henry Miller (hereinafter referred as to Henry), the adopted son of Louis’s family, was picked up by Amanda after he being abandoned in a snowy day.
At this moment, he was lying on the bed, pale and skinny.
Diana was standing in front of the bed, staring at the person on the bed for a long time. Her mother-in-law, Judy Miller (hereinafter referred as to Judy) was not impatient for her behaviors.
"Why are you standing here? If you can't help, just stand aside." The servant took a basin of warm water for Judy who wanted to wipe the face and hands of Henry in person.
Judy could not bear children, so she pinned all her hopes on Henry. Even though Henry was so sick, she still took care of him earnestly.
Since Judy would not let her do anything, she would also be happy. Diana stepped back two steps to give the space for Judy. Her mother-in-law was also a poor person.
Just then, Henry's hand suddenly moved.
At first, no one noticed, then Henry opened his eyes.
Judy cried and laughed, then asked the servant to invite the doctor. The servant was busy ringing the call bell.
But Diana was shocked, did her marriage work for the dying man?
Henry looked around the house, then he saw Diana.
"Who are you?" He asked Diana in a low and weak tone.
Judy stared at Diana fiercely to let her have a good answer.
Diana smiled to reply, "I am your wife. My name is Diana." If Henry could survive, it would be a good thing. She couldn't hate such a young man who was already ill.
Henry smiled. Unexpectedly, his smile was beautiful and he was as gentle as the spring breeze. When he was healthy, he must be also a handsome man.
"I didn't expect that I could still have a wife." Henry said.
"Henry, what did you say!" Judy said, "Why can't you have a wife? When you're OK, you’ll have a good life."
Henry closed his eyes and smiled, then said to Diana, "Even if we’re just a couple for a moment, it's also our fate. When I’m gone, please help me take care of my mom."
Henry passed away by just half an hour after he woke up, and before he died, he begged Judy not to trouble Diana.
Diana got married in the morning, and before noon, she became a widow.
Louis had a very important meeting today and when the meeting was halfway through, he received the notice that Henry had passed away.
He raised his hand to abort the meeting, "I have something at home. Stop the meeting and we'll have it again tomorrow."
No one dared to object to Louis's decision. He was CEO, who was known for his fierce and cruel behavior. At a young age, he defeated his uncle to take over the power of Louis’s family. These subordinates were just working, so there was no need for them to object.
When Louis arrived at the hospital, everyone was waiting for him. After he had a look, Henry was about to be sent to the morgue.
He calmly bid farewell to the bloodless cousin, by the way to look at Judy, who had been shot down because of Henry’s death.
Diana was sitting on the bedside guarding her mother-in-law.
"Madam, Master Louis is coming." The servant said softly as she walked to her.
Diana was stunned. Louis, wasn't the back of her friend, Kelly? Finally, she could see what he looked like. When she had promised to marry to Henry, she not only because of her mother’s beg, but also she could see the backer of Kelly!
Footsteps were heard from the door. Diana stood up and turned around to see Louis.
