Chapter 15. Handsome Savior
Before Diana could react to what had happened, a person grabbed her arms and that person drove her desperately to run to the front.
As she ran, she heard a loud bang.
After she stood still, she subconsciously looked back. It turned out that there was an off-road vehicle that had rushed onto the pavement and crashed into the flowerbed.
If she was still there, Diana could not help but shudder and dared not think about it.
"Are you OK?" A gentle and magnetic voice sounded in her ear.
Diana turned around and looked at him. A handsome, sunny young face appeared in front of her, with an indescribable worry. His dark eyes focused on her face, his handsome features under the sun's rays, and his eyes dazzled.
"Just now, you saved me?" Diana's mind was still stunned, so she subconsciously asked.
The handsome man smiled and said:" It cannot be called saved. I just walked behind you just now. I've just caught you. Are you ok? are there any injuries?"
It was really a good person. Diana took a deep breath and said: "I'm fine. I'm not hurt, but I'm just scared. Thank you so much. If you didn't save me, I might have gone to heaven now. "
"You're really interesting." The man smiled.
Diana lowered her head a little. She realized that the man's hand was still around her waist. She was embarrassed to be too obvious, so she stood up straight. In order not to let the man notice her tricks, she asked a topic and asked, "Well, what's your name?"
The man might have noticed her thoughts and withdrew his hands without a trace. He smiled and said: "My name is James Baker (hereinafter referred as to James), what about you?"
"My name is Diana."
There were a lot of onlookers gathering on the roadside. Some were lamenting Diana and James. Some were pointing in front of the car. No one knew what happened to the car. And did the car suddenly fail?
The driver lay on the steering wheel and looked unconscious. No one dared to step forward to move him, fearing secondary injury.
Diana took a closer look and was shocked to find out that the person driving the car was Dean!
In an instant, thousands of speculations slipped through her mind. Why was Dean here? Didn't he just return to Selfridges? She didn't think Dean would come out to chase her after arguing with Kelly.
In her mind, she thought about what had happened just once again. She walked on the pavement and thought about what was going on. Then, she was pulled by the kind-hearted James who saved her life.
Recovered a life?
A thought flashed into Diana's mind like a flash of light. Did Dean want to kill her?
The more she thought about it, the more she thought it was certain. At that time, when she was pulled away by James, she did not hear the horn of the car at all. If it wasn't intentional, if it was just the car that was out of control, why didn't Dean warn her by the horn?
He simply wanted to kill her!
