Chapter 34. Dating with the Beauty
Kris's mouth twitched. This group of people was really watching the scene of the bustle , and he really wanted to change his position with him and make him happy.
Diana also felt that this misunderstanding had become more and more serious. She was worried that doing so would have a bad effect on Kris. After all, she was a widow. She was afraid of causing unnecessary trouble to Kris.
"I'm not his girlfriend," she said seriously: "You've misunderstood. I'm in a normal friendship with him."
Everyone who heard it thought that this woman did not give Kris too much face. They didn’t know that although Kris was stunned for a moment, he was relieved. It was a terrifying thing to rumor a scandal with Diana of the Miller family and the woman of his own boss. Since Diana was willing to clarify and did not intend to keep him as a shield, then of course he could not.
"That's right, you guys don't talk nonsense." Kris also said very seriously: "If her boyfriend hears this, he must beat me up."
These security guards laughed and did not take Kris's words to heart. In their view, if it were not for a male-female friend relationship, how could this woman send Kris something for two consecutive days? Although they did not see anything in her hand today, none of them would deliberately analyze this.
Diana asked Britannia's driver to bring herself to Centenary Square, where there was a Chinese dessert-store she frequented to go to.
After getting out of the car, she let the driver go back first. After a while, she had to go to the hospital first, then go straight back to the Miller family's residence.
Diana bought some not too sweet pastries. This stores pastries were liked by her mother and uncle. She looked at these uniquely shaped snacks and calculated in her heart that Amanda in the residence seemed to like this kind of Chinese snack too. Otherwise, she would buy something to honor and respect her next time? As for the rest of the family, she was unfamiliar and did not want to deal with them.
She took the wrapped snack and was about to leave. She turned around and bumped into someone.
"I'm sorry," she subconsciously said, then looked at the dim sum box in her hand before hitting her head.
"Sure enough, it's you," said a familiar voice in surprise.
"James?" Diana was surprised. "How is it so coincidental?"
"My grandmother likes to eat these sweet, and I'll buy some for her." James said: "The moment I walked in, I felt very familiar when I saw your back. I didn't think it was you." He noticed Diana. Today, she wore a brand-name brand and even carried a niche purse. It was very different from the last time. It was because of this dress that he almost did not recognize her when he first saw her side face.
He felt a little weird, but it soon disappeared. It's not surprising that these days' girls had a few handy clothes and designer bags.
"You're quite filial." Diana smiled.
James’s eyebrows jumped. "You bought it to eat for yourself?" This was a good opportunity to understand her preferences, he thought.
Diana smiled and shook her head. "This is for my mother and uncle."
James laughed. "Then, aren't you as filial?"
They smiled at each other.
"Have you had lunch?" Now was the time to have lunch. If it was not for the fear that this limited-edition snack would be sold out, James would not have rushed over to buy it before dinner. Presumably, Diana thought this too.
James felt that the store's limited policy was really great. Today, it was also great to have a whim instead of a servant to buy dim sum. Otherwise, he might not be able to see Diana here. Of course, this was an indication of his affinity with her.
Diana said, "No. What about you?"
"I don't have, either." James suggested: "If not, Miss Diana would have lunch with me?"
"Okay." It's alright anyway. She needed lunch too, and Diana readily agreed.
James immediately said: "Then, you should sit on the chair for a while. Wait until I buy the snack first.
From the point of view that Diana did not see, James asked the shop assistant to help him get some snacks while sending a message to his sister that wrote with "I can't accompany you for lunch, for I have an appointment with a beauty. There is no need for you to come to Centenary Square, I'll make up another day. "
At noon, there were a lot of people eating, and some people even queued up in front of the restaurant.
James brought Diana to a high-class restaurant. There were not many people in the restaurant.
Diana looked at the surroundings and smiled: "So you like to eat at a restaurant like this?" She just inadvertently met friends while shopping. She thought they were just eating light meals. Who knew that James had chosen this upscale restaurant to have lunch?
If she couldn't make AA, she would have to choose the same restaurant the next time. For the first time, Diana felt that it was also a burden to make friends with the rich. Of course, she still had to go to work as soon as possible. She couldn't swipe Louis's card to entertain her friends.
She was the one who was going to leave the Miller family one day. The less she could get from the Miller family, it might be easier to leave. She separated the things that belonged to her from those that belonged to the Miller family.
James turned around, not knowing what Diana meant. He was just asking for the question of what she wanted to eat. After getting an easy answer, he chose a restaurant that he could compare to. Now, she asked him that did he like it or not.
"I used to study abroad for many years. If you're not used to eating, we can change one." He said tentatively.
Diana smiled and said: "Okay, that's right. I'm not picky eaters. It's okay here."
This restaurant's elegant surroundings and delicious food really made such a high price.
The two of them ate while chatting, and they actually found a common hobby. They both like to watch movies. When they talked about the latest movie works, they both highly praised the movie that actor Bruce and actress Mia (hereinafter referred as to Mia) had collaborated with some time ago.
"It's a pity that this movie has already been released, otherwise we can go and see it together," said James.
"Let's go see the next time they have a movie." Diana laughed.
"Next time?" James did not expect Diana to say the next time, so he immediately said: "Okay, it's next time! You're done, you can't break the appointment." After the movie, the next movie would be released in half a year.
"I won't break the appointment." Diana could not help but go to the cinema to watch a movie was one of her ways to reduce stress. Since there were friends who were willing to go together, it was still more lively.
When paying for the bill, Diana did not rush to pay, but she specifically noticed James's actions. They only met by chance and had a meal together. They also ordered their own meals, so the AA system was normal.
James swiftly swiped his credit card and did not want to sign AA with Diana.
Diana lowered her head and smiled.
"Where are you going next?" James asked.
