Alex POV

i have been staying here in Saipan for 2 weeks but i still have not cornered Liz. She has never attended any afterwork dinner activities i had scheduled for the whole staff. She is always in a rush to go home.

Among the Mid level.management staff she is the only one with an earlier time shift. I did not declare to the management and staff that i know her, that she is my ex-fiance.

I was expecting her to get mad at me and will declare to everyone that we nearly got married. Instead she took my cue, she pretended as if she does not know me.either. She was always civil to me, although she never disrespected me in any way she has already set up an invisible between us. I will be going back to LA after 8 more weeks i have to talk to her soon. My businesses back home also needs my attention. although my assistant is very sufficient and trustworthy there are still i lot of things i need to do personally. I have studied Liz schedule and planned my moves to eventually be able to talked to her alone.

Lunch time she normally eat with Jenny at the cafeteria. I stayed behind the kitchen door just to ensure i can join them. Within 15 minutes Liz and Jenny arrive, I allowed them to order their food and choose a table, luckily there is a sprare free chair in their table.

Liz Pov

2 weeks after Alex's arrival he still has not stop trying to corner me. .But i was also determined not to give him a chance to talked to me. Whenever i can see him itake another route, i have changed my schedule and joined the 1st shift in order to avoid all the after work dinner he has set up.

Hope you Ladies will allow ne to occupy this seat and join you two for lunch, Alex said without taking his eyes of me.

Yes by all means Mr Handsome Jenny. Squealed.

Jenny was clearly smitten with Alex, it can be clearly seen on her face and her body language. Liz never said a word during lunch the discussion is always between Jenny and Alex..

So i will expect both of you to attend the company sponsored dinner party tonight, Alex said.

Jenny immediately said yes, while i hurriedly answered No.

Jenny coaxed me to go and join them, but when i mentioned Andy age gave up.

Her son's Nanny goes home everynight Jenny stated which is why Liz is always on the rush.

How old is your son? Alex asked Liz making eye contact with her, how long have you been married?

You just missed his 4th birthday, Jenny said if you arrive earlier you could have joined us.

Liz did not answer Alex instead she lowered her eyes and concentrated on eating.
