Chapter 8 Don’t be childish.
Ruby was surprised to see him. She had seen him less a few times a month, and she had seen him the most these few days. Even he had sent her to the hospital, a bit like a dream.
Hearing his question, Ruby did not answer and turned away.
Ethan sighed, pulled a chair and sat down, opening the bowl of hot porridge, his voice calm and commanding: "You must quit smoking from now on."
Ruby sneered, and said with sullenness: "Who do you think you are?"
"Ruby, you're not a kid, don't be childish." He said indifferently, as he blew the porridge and gave to her: "I told them to add some sugar. You love it, take a bite."
"Take it away, I don't eat it!" Ruby turned her body even further, her tone also not good.
He looked thoughtful, and remembered what food she preferred or not. Why did they have such a tough marriage?
Furthermore, she wasn't a kid, and nor is she childish!
Ethan frowned, he ate the porridge, then reached out and squeezed her lips and kissed up, forcing her to open her mouth and feeding the porridge to her.
"Ugh!" Ruby struck his chest with all her might to resist but Ethan got on her body. His long legs clamped tightly onto her legs and the deep kisses almost made Ruby breathless.
After feeding her again and again, this bowl bottomed out. Ruby in his embrace quieted down. She stared at him with rage, as if he had committed an unforgivable sin.
Ethan touched her tender lips.
It was light pink and soft, he got impulse just by kissing her, but they are in hospital, he had to suppress thoughts no matter how much they are, and she was sick this moment.
Ethan held his hand on the side of Ruby's head, like the soft—skinned woman in her arms, and said with a cold voice. "Ruby, if I find you smoke again, I have plenty of ways to deal with you."
"It’s none of your business!" Seeing his stiff face, Ruby was a little terrified, even dare not look at his eyes. She turned her body back and bury her head in the quilt with an uneasy feeling.
As I was sick, he should stay, right?
[As long as he stays to take care of me and has a good attitude, I won't argue with him. I promise!]
It was just that Ruby was thinking too much, in just a minute, the plastic bag was cleaned up, and Ethan said "I have something to do. You have a rest, and I'll pick you up tomorrow morning when I have time."
Ruby's was full of disappointment and wrapped herself even tighter with the quilt.
In his heart, she wasn't even as important as working!
Seeing that Ruby did not say a word, Ethan had to stand at the door and ask: "Is there anything I can help?"
"No!" Ruby knew that he was probably referring to her father's matters. Hearing the word "help", Ruby felt sour and irritated, "I will solve it by myself if I have something, go away!".
It was a child’s temper, Ethan slight sigh. He didn't like the marriage, but at least she was his wife. She had been a good girl for so long, and caused no trouble for him, and he couldn't completely ignore her.
After leaving the hospital room, Ethan thought for a moment, then took out his phone and made a call: "Help me contact Mr. Xiang, ask him when he's free, I want to visit him."
Ruby woke up the next morning and waited until 11 o'clock at the hospital, but Ethan did not come. He lied to her!
After disappointment, Ruby left the hospital calmly. After returning home, she went straight to her bedroom and pulled open the wardrobe with all her might.
