Anne blinked sincerely, "Handsome, I lost my ID card. Can I borrow yours for check-in? Certainly, I'll pay for the room."

In her mind, this guy was so hot and would certainly grant her the little favor. He didn't need to pay and had nothing to lose.

To her surprise, however, Denny arched his eyebrow and acted indifferently, "What's it got to do with me?"

"Poof!"

Anger stuck in her throat, but she couldn't vent it out. This was indeed none of his business.

She took a look at the sky outside. It was already dark. Even though she tried another hotel, an ID card was still required. It was better for her to convince this handsome guy.

Humbly Anne clasped her fists and implored, "Handsome, please, lend me your ID card. I'll pay for your room. How about it? I've been quite sincere."

"You think I'm short of money?" Denny squinted at her with disdain and turned to leave.

Anne hastened to stop him in the front, "Handsome, whoever saves a life saves the world, please!"

She blinked her big, bright eyes welling up with tears of grievance and looked quite pitiful.

After a long while of hesitation, Denny made his decision, "I can agree."

"Yay!" Anne almost jumped for joy, pulling Denny to the front desk.

Denny took out his ID card to the staff, "One more room please."

While speaking, he winked at the staff when Anne didn't pay attention.

Taking the hint, the staff checked the computer and told Anne, "Sorry, miss, all the rooms have been booked. This gentleman just booked our last one."

"What!"

This was sad. No room was available!

Anne frowned, ready to leave and find a hostel to make do. Before she got out, she spotted Nick, Kate, and Amy wandering in the near distance!

Did they search all the way here?

She couldn't let them find her!

Anne rushed back to Denny and threw herself in his arms, "Handsome, this is urgent. If you help me, I'll be grateful for the rest of my life!"

Denny had always disliked women approaching him, but this little woman didn't upset him even in the slightest.

"Why should I help you?"

"As long as you can help me hide from them, name your requirement, I'll agree." Anne looked out of the door. Nick and others were approaching!

Denny lifted her delicate face and arched his brow, "You'll agree to anything?"

"Yes, yes, handsome, please save me!" Anne had no idea of the potential danger in her words. She raised her head, saw Nick and others showing up at the entrance, and pulled Denny to rush to the elevator!

As his plot succeeded, a flicker of a smile flashed across his eyes. Throwing his arm around Anne's waist, Denny walked into the elevator with satisfaction.

Before her eyes, the elevator door closed, and Anne heaved a sigh of relief. If her aunt and uncle caught her, she would be taken back and sold to that disgusting old man. Her life would be ruined!

At the same time, she should figure out a way to resolve the trouble.

She was never a doormat, and it was her tradition to wreak vengeance on those who had bullied her!
