Angus's face grew ugly, hidden anger hovering under his eyes as he suddenly returned to the car and opened the door.

Then the car was slammed shut heavily!

Reappearing with an extra gun in his hand, he pointed it at Nick, "Let her go or I'll kill you!"

"No!" Tammy agitatedly stood in front of Nick, "Please don't do this..."

Nick's eyes were cold!

It was him!

Angus, the president of the Smith Group.

He hadn't seen him before, but now that he took a closer look, he was even more confused!

A man like Angus could get whatever kind of woman he liked. Why would he cling to an ugly girl?

He did not believe it was love, and this ugly girl must have something that Angus could make use of.

Nick had seen humanity through to the end!

"So it's President Smith. I'm curious how did this girl offend you? You risked your life in a car chase."

Nick's voice was devoid of fear, and there was a slight smile on his lips.

At this point, there was no use in being afraid.

Tammy bit her pale lip, and she was shocked.

How did he know Angus?

But in the next second, Tammy immediately understood.

A few people wouldn't know Angus.

Angus could see at once that the man before him was not ordinary, or else how could he remain calm in such a situation!

He ignored him and instead said coldly, "Tammy, I'll give you ten seconds. And if you don't get over here, I'll kill him!"

"No, I'm going over there. I'm going..." Tammy was like a taut string. If it broke, she might be dead.

"Don't go!" Nick stopped her, "Are you going to get yourself killed?"

"You let go of me. Let go of me!" Tammy struggled desperately.

Angus was already impatient: "10, 9, 8, 7..."

Seeing the numbers dwindling, Tammy yelled at Nick, "Do not mind my business. He's my husband and we just argued with each other. Get off me!"

She had no choice but to do what she had to do to save him!

Nick was startled...

They were married? How was that possible?

He was a little startled.

"Five, four, three,..." and Angus was ready to shoot.

Suddenly, Nick pulled Tammy's body hard, whispered something in her ear, and released her.

Tammy ran toward Angus and grabbed his arm. She couldn't hold on any longer, ad fell to the ground!

Angus immediately hugged her, finding her cheeks red and her out of mind.

Tammy gripped his shirt and gasped, "Leave...get out of here..."

The danger hadn't quite cleared and she wasn't sure what Angus would do.

Angus glanced at Nick coldly. He grunted, then got into the car with Tammy in his arms.

The sound of an engine starting. The black car disappeared into the night.

Nick felt some sort of liquid running down his head.

He stretched his hand out to touch it, and found it was blood.

Angus carried Tammy back to the villa.

Tammy was unconscious.

"Well...I...I'm in so much pain! Help..." she tore at her clothes, struggling in pain on the bed.
