Chapter 7 The Woman Smells Fascinating
Standing in the splendid hall, Mary Miller looked at the luxurious interior of the palace-like villa.
Hank Cook helped Mike Johnson enter the latter's bedroom. When he came out, Mary walked over to him and asked, "Sir, could I use your phone? I am penniless now, so I want to call a cousin of mine for help."
Though Scott Wood was now overseas, he could at least transfer her some money so that she would be able to make a living on her own.
Looking at the dirty dress the woman was wearing, Hank suggested, "Miss Miller, it's quite late now. How about fixing your problem tomorrow? Please stay here. I'll ask the servant to take you to the bathroom."
Hank turned and left, and Mary followed up. "Excuse me, sir."
"What's the matter?"
"Well..." Mary swallowed, feeling embarrassed. "I'm starving."
Except for the breakfast she had had on the cruise ship in the morning, she had not eaten anything else all day long.
Hank smiled and then asked a maid to prepare dinner for the woman.
After finishing her meal, Mary was led by the maid to a tidy, spacious room. That was where she would spend the night.
With clean pajamas in hand, she entered the bathroom.
After washing her hair, which was naturally curly, she began to dry it in front of the mirror.
"Mermaid..." All of a sudden, the door to the restroom was opened.
Mary was shocked. She tilted her head and found it was Mike pouncing upon her.
The man held the woman tightly, stroking her pretty long hair and kissing her delicate face.
"Sir, get off me." Mary kept patting the man's back.
"Woman, I saved you. Your life is now mine!" Mike, who was as drunk as a fish, clutched the woman in his arms, feasting on her fragrance, which was fascinating to him.
"Please let go of me. Let me go..."
Soon, the woman's struggle turned into helpless sobbing.
Last night, it was the woman who was being dazed. This time, it was the man's turn. In front of the strong male, Mary could not do anything but feel the scare and pain profoundly.
With tears welling up in her eyes, the woman looked at the man upon her body, whose facial features were clear-cut and handsome. He kept kissing her and moving his lower body. "Be good. Stay still..."
The woman had no idea how long it took for the man to satisfy himself finally. He stopped his movements and contentedly gasped in her ear.
Then, he fell asleep with the woman in his arms.
After sobbing for a few minutes, the woman also dropped asleep.
Early the next morning, Mary woke up. She opened her eyes and saw the sleeping man next to her, who looked wondrously brilliant.
Mary got out of bed and dressed. Noticing Mike's cell phone, which was lying on the floor, she picked it up and was pleasantly surprised to find that it did not have a password. With the phone in her hand, she opened the door and left.
Usually, Mike was a man with high alertness. However, as he had drunk too much last night, he was still deep in sleep when Mary walked out of the room.
It was about six o'clock. Mary stood quietly behind a door with her shoes in hand and saw a maid enter the kitchen.
Taking the opportunity, the woman swiftly crossed the hall barefoot and ran out of the villa.
She made it.
Mary put on her shoes and began to run.
Until she felt she had arrived at a secure spot, the woman stopped, took out the phone, and called Scott Wood.
Scott's number was imprinted on her mind.
She was not sure what time it was in the country where her cousin was. However, she had no other option but to call him.
Luckily, Scott answered his phone.
Upon hearing the man's voice, Mary cried out excitedly, "Scott, it's me. I'm Mary..."
Mary immediately began to shed tears, feeling scared and helpless.
Scott was sleeping at the moment but quickly sat up in the bed, asking nervously, "Mary, how are you doing? What happened this morning?"
"Aunt Anna wants me to marry a terrible man. Please help me. I'm so scared..." Standing on one side of the road, Mary burst out crying loudly.
