Carlos' eyes fell on Lucas disdainfully. Their eyes met, and lightning sparkles could almost be seen in the air.

Lucas' face twitched, and he tried to scare Carlos away, "You'd better stop meddling in our affairs. This is a matter between husband and wife which is none of your business. Otherwise, watch out for your reputation in B City!"

Henry, who had just rushed in after Carlos lest his boss should get into any trouble, happened to hear it, and he almost stumbled over Lucas' words in an absurd, ironic twist.

Lucas wasn't some newcomer himself. How dared he say big words like that? He would regret that he didn't bite his tongue when he learned the lesson later on. He could be counted as the boss of B city in no way.

When Henry turned to look at Carlos' face, associating the scene with his boss's reaction when he gave the information about Zoe and this man to him just now, he secretly mourned for Lucas.

It had been a long time since Carlos got angry last time, and whenever he did, woe betided people who triggered it. This time the Lucas was one.

Zoe shuddered as Lucas let out the threat, and she was worried that the man who showed up out of nowhere would get into trouble for getting himself involved in her affairs. Just when she was about to make a sound, her waist got held by the man. He wrapped his arms around her, making her unable to move.

"Husband and wife?" Zoe heard Carlos repeating the word. He pivoted his eyes from Zoe's face onto Lucas, "From now on, you're not."

"What?" There was a momentary dumbfounded expression on Lucas' face.

Even the Edwardses all put on dumbfounded faces, unable to believe how presumptuous this man could be in their house.

Soon Lucas laughed a few times as if he had heard some funny joke. He got up and snorted, "Who are you..."

"Mr. Ree." Henry came over gracefully at this time, announcing his existence in front of everyone. He pulled out his business card holder and handed it to Lucas with a long face in order to interrupt him, "I will have the divorce agreement between Mr. Ree and Ms. Edward sent to your company by the lawyer on behalf of Mr. Holt. If you have any problems, we don't mind going through the necessary legal process. This is my business card, and I'll be waiting at your earliest convenience."

Lucas was stunned when he saw the words TK Group on the business card. When he saw the position of Henry, the President's Special Assistant, his boiling blood suddenly got frozen, and he swallowed all the words on his tongue!

Lucas looked over Henry toward Carlos, who was already back in the car, chilling from the inside out, and his hands clenched into fists at his side still couldn't stop shaking!

He wasn't the only one who saw it. Jon, who was closest to him also saw the information on the business card. Jon's brain went blank for a moment, and when he finally related the TK to the TK Group, his entire body showed a somewhat exaggerated excitement from the fortune down the drain.

"From now on, she's mine. Anyone who dares to bully her will suffer the consequences."

His voice wasn't loud, but every word fell with unquestionable dominance, and the unfinished sentence had all the threatening hostility condensed in that final snort.

It wasn't until Carlos took Zoe away and the engine roared outside the door did people in the living room wake up as if it were a dream.

Jon thought of Carlos' words and mumbled, "Carlos...Carlos! Is it true that he's the one who just returned from abroad in the Holt family?"

Lucas also speculated Carlos' identity based on things thereof, and his face twitched as if he had been whipped. Seeing the joy Jon showed at the mention of the Holt family, he snorted and left in stride with a long face.

And now, both Jon and Olivia were rendered in the delighted surprise of being able to cling to the Holt family, and no one cared if Lucas was angry or not anymore.

"Lucas!" Sophia chased after him, but all she saw was the car leaving.

Sophia stood in the doorway. Her pretty little face which was decorated by delicacy was now full of jealousy!

And inside the house, it was strange that Jon was no longer having a heart attack. He couldn't help jabbering, "Oh my God, oh my God, when did our Zoe meet the Holts? I can't believe it's Carlos. I can't believe it's him..."
