Christina furrowed her eyebrows gazing at me shockingly "Are you serious?! My daughter?"

I chuckled "fuck you don't have any sense of humor! She is like my daughter now! I was just kidding."

She blew a sigh of relief "God! You scared me!"

I grimaced and stood up lit up a cigar "I see! You don't trust me yet! That's why I told you, we should wait, because you have no faith in me, you still didn't fall for me, " I needed to turn the table upside down on her head.

she hopped off the floor and placed her hands on my shoulders "No, I do love you, I swear."

I swung my head and glanced at her "Sorry, I don't believe you. Anyway, I guess by staying away from each other for a few days, maybe this will give you a chance to think again about our marriage if you want to continue this or get a divorce." I raised my head and frowned.

She dropped her jaw in disbelief "What are you saying? A divorce?! Sorry, I didn't mean it that way, but she is my only daughter, she is my everything to me, I got scared when you said you do love her."

I smirked and raised an eyebrow "You have to prove your love by actions not by sweet words. Even your words were too harsh. Anyway, I will leave the house now, I will drive you tomorrow to your flight, when you come back we could talk."

She folded her arms next to her and sighed "But… fine, As you like."

I narrowed my eyebrows and mocked "Don't worry, I won't eat a piece of your Angel. you could take her with you if you still have doubts that I will treat her as a father." I wanted to have my space with Angel alone, I wanted to push her out of the house somehow. But I wanted her to feel guilty.

She blinked glaring at me "Sure Not, I do trust you."

I nodded and placed a soft kiss on her cheeks"Great I'm going Now. Sweet dreams."

I closed the door behind me. I didn't plan for this, but I did it to cover what I said, being with my Angel in the same house turned me into an uncontrollable person, a lot of mistakes in just one night!

I passed Angel room, but she opened the door all of sudden, I guess she was going on a walk to discover the house. or maybe she has heard our voices quarreling… so she wanted to check on her mother.

I patted her cheeks "Angel, I'm going now." I smiled softly.

Angel dropped her jaw in curiosity "Huh? Where? What happened?"

I sighed, running my fingers through my hair trying to keep my eyes away from her. I need more time to know what I'm willing to do exactly in Angel’s life "I think your mother will explain to you. but I could say that she doesn't love me simply, see you tomorrow." I told her then I twirled my body to go away. But her words stopped me.

"You could stay here, sleep here tonight If you want to!" Angel blurted out.

Her offer was so generous to me, But she didn’t know that fuel and fire can’t be next to each other.

I spun my body slowly… scrunching my nose "Really?" I tried to hide the happiness in my tone. 'Finally, I will be in the same room with her?! Not watching her through cams?! Not sneaking and stalking away to see her pretty face from far away?!'

Angel nodded her head and grinned like a Cheshire cat "Yes, sure, you are my father Now." I nodded and trailed her into her room.

 I pulled a blanket from the closet and laid my body on the couch. The smile didn't leave my face, it's so comfortable to smell her adorable perfume everywhere around me.

Out of blue Angel bawled "What are you doing?"

"Sleeping on the couch!" I raised my eyebrows glaring at her.

she huffed and pointed to the bed by her hand "No, sleep next to me."

I stood up walking hesitantly to the bed "Okay, but don't try to seduce me." I teased her.

she pouts her lips like a cat, sealing half of her eyes "I won't, don't worry." okay this is so seductive actually, I won't bear more actions from her. I guess I should leave now or I might make a step. I could regret it later. I don't want her to be afraid of me or hate me, I want her to be mine forever, to fall for me.

I smirked trying to cover my trembling and quivering "Yes, sure, I'm old and ugly."

Angel blurted out slowly and clearly "No, you are hot and handsome."

I cleared my throat gazing at her "What?"

Angel shut her eyes and stammered "U _um, for my mother I guess." well this will be the hardest and longest night ever for me, I guess.

But I spotted a business card on the nightstand commode! curiosity made me check it… I pulled it to read for whom... And fuck! It was for Ivan...

' I guess he will be the next Target.' I rounded my fist groaning internally.
