Next day we walked up early, actually I didn't sleep even for a second , I was dreaming and thinking all night for that meeting .. that's why, at exactly 8 am, I rushed to my mother room waking her up .. but she pulled the blanket and covered her head again, asking me to leave her to sleep for a bit more. she was right, it was so early, but I was excited about that meeting.

I walked to the kitchen to prepare some breakfast, I wanted to do anything to kill the time. it was going slowly for me, I was so bored, I wanted the hours to run quickly and to close and open my eyes to find myself in Mr jack's office and signing the contract. I wished my father was here with me at that moment.

After a couple of hours my mom finally woke up and stepped into the living room searching for me ...she was still sleepy rubbing her eyes and yawning ... I know that she wanted to sleep more but she knows that day was so important to me and she felt how nervous I was. I hopped off the couch opening my mouth from happiness, finally, I could talk with her!

"So, Jenny are you ready for that?" she smiled and sat next to me on the couch, she pulled me close to her and placed my head to her chest, tapping my head softly.

"Yes mother, I dreamed to be a popular singer for all my life," I nodded and I hugged her ...

"What life! you are still 17! Anyway, I just want you to think wisely. this is not a game, it's a contract that can't be taken down or we will pay too much money as compensation!" she furrowed her eyebrows warning me.

I pouted my lips with puppy eyes. "Yes, I know mother, don't worry, and I will be 18 after 2 months anyway .. I'm not a baby girl anymore!!!!!!!" I frowned and I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Okay, then go and take a good shower. I want all of them to get impressed by my gorgeous daughter," my mother pushed me slamming my butt slightly.

"Thanks, mother, I will make the first impression last forever. don't worry, "I giggled and I leaned down my head and I kissed her cheeks.

I wore a pink shirt and blue jeans, the pink color makes my green eyes shine, and makes my white skin attract the eyes and to be honest I like that color. I enjoy girly stuff, shopping, and cooking, and changing strands of my hair into colored one.

I got inside my mom's car and she drove fast because she took too many hours wearing her clothes. I don't know why she did so this time! she wanted to leave a good impression I guess but to be honest, my mother is so pretty and if she appeared without makeup, still everyone would fall for her. She looked hesitant.

We arrived at Mr jack's dean company, the secretary welcomed us and asked us to wait until she informed Mr jack. I was looking around me and checked by my eyes the huge company and the expensive leather seats .It's something luxurious.

"Miss Jenny, Miss Nadine are here," the secretary walked inside Mr Jack and informed him. I could hear her voice because she didn't close the door behind her .. I guess he was waiting for us and he set that appointment.

"Let them in immediately," Mr. Jack bawled at his secretary and she rushed to us, ushering us to follow her.

"Hello, wow, you look... I'm speechless!!!" Mr. Jack stood up and dropped his jaw staring at my mother.. okay, I chuckled.

"Thanks, but you have to say so for Jenny, I'm not the singer," my mother blushed and looked at me.

"Oh, yes sorry, please have a seat," Mr. Jack ran his fingers through his hair feeling embarrassed.

"Jenny, you look cute," Mr. Jack widened his eyes checking me from my toes to my hair.

"NOOO, A GORGEOUS QUEEN!" someone almost shouted out of blue. I spin my head to take a look .. OH MY GOD ! He is the guy I met in the bar last night!

"Sorry!!!" I cleared my throat gazing at the guy.

"Sorry for that ! He is my son, I told you about him. He works here too with me, And he's 21 and in his last year at college..."Mr. Jack apologized to me and introduced his son.. oh great! this will be a disaster appointment!

"Father, she's....! she wears PINK!!!" the guy looked up and down towards me in disbelief.

"STOP NOW!!! James, and her style is something you have to take care of later, it's one of your duties, but don't judge her! hear her voice first," Mr. Jack hollered at his son and gritted his teeth.

"Okay, please sing, " James muttered, staring away with ignorance to me.

"sorry Mr jack, but I won't let anyone talk to my daughter that way! sorry, the deal is off!" my mom stood up and shouted loudly. okay no one knows my mom when she pissed off, she could slap this James' face and smash this building in a few minutes, when it comes to me, she might cut anyone's throat.

"Let's go Jenny." my mom commanded me with a stern tone and dragged me to get out of this office.

"please mother ! just wait, I'm a good singer. there's nothing wrong with how I look, I know that I'm so pretty," I tried to halt her and convince her . This might be my only chance and I'm sure that I will make James like my voice, even if he hates me.

"CUTE! actually!"James commented and smirked.

"Whatever! Did your mother know about you ?! the way you wear your clothes looks like a....!" James muttered waving his eyebrows up and down teasing me. I rounded my fist to curb my bad temper. I wanted to punch his face at that moment, but that was my career and at least I should respect Mr jack because he was so nice to me.

"I'm so proud of my daughter! At least I'm her best friend and she tells me everything! it's none of your business how she is wearing or acting ! or you are afraid to deal with her because you like her?" my mother blurted out throwing James with killing words and deadly looks.

Bang! one point for my mom!

"What! Um, I'm not! okay, let her sing. I will keep silent," James trembled and rolled his eyes, his cheeks turned into bloody red. I don't know if he was shy or because he was angry with what my mother said to him!.

"Mrs. Nadine, could you please come outside, don't worry. my son James is so professional, I want to talk with you in private," Mr. Jack asked my mother to get out with him . my mother plastered at her place glaring at me for a minute then she nodded and walked outside with Mr. Jack.

I wanted to follow my mom.. but James paused me by his words."don't worry I won't eat a piece of you! wait here, I was just teasing you." James whispered and he sat on the edge of the desk paying attention to me.

"Okay," I nodded.

"Now sing please, Jenny."James threw me a different look that time and said to me softly . And I started to sing one of my best songs, I composed this one . and he was just opening his mouth in a thunderstruck.

I guess he didn't imagine that I was so talented like that!
