Remember when I said my family was safe? Well that was a half truth. They were safe from serenity and amy, but not the vampires.

Thanks to my white wolf powers, vampires want my blood. And the vampire king, Adrian, wants me as his mate. Apparently I have a choice in either a wolf or a vampire mate. I'd choose wolf every single time. I love Jax and our pups to much. But that didn't stop them from sending threats to us. Jax and me are officially the alpha and luna of the pack now and we been leading well, but even that didn't stop the vampire king from trying to claim me. I was in nursery laying the twins down for their nap when I turned around I was face to face with Adrian. I freeze. He looks me over. "You smell like him." He sneers at me. I immediately mindlink Jax and tell him to get here immediately. "Don't worry my dear, your true mate is here to take you-"

He doesn't finish before Jax fist connects to his jaw. Adrian spraws on the floor as I grab the twins and get behind Jax. Adrian hisses but stops when nathan and josh come in the room ready to attack. "Come near my mate again and I will kill you bloodsucker!" Jax voice booms. Adrian eyes all three before he disappears in a cloud of smoke. "This isn't over mutt!" He spits out. "I will have her." I don't think I've been this scared since before I got sapphire. 'Don't worry. We have our true mate and he knows he can't do anything about it' sapphire tells me. I'm still scared. Nathan takes Jaxon from me, josh takes jasmine, and Jax pulls me into his arms. "Are you ok love?" He asks. Voice full of concern. I blink back tears and nod into Jax chest. "I'll protect you with my life." He tell me. "I know you will my love" I tell him.

A few weeks later

I go to the backyard. I go there when I'm tense. I can't shake adrian chilling words. I hope he stays away from me but I should of knew better. I hear a rustle near the forest and shift instantly. I sniff the air and I know whatever is there, isn't a wolf. I growl loud and a vampire appears in front of me we fight but the was just a distraction. I go for the killing blow when something hits me in my side instantly shift and my eyes feel heavy. Before I black out I hear Adrian's voice. "Got you."

Then my world goes black.
