I slowly open my eyes and I notice that I not in my bed or my home. I'm shackled to the bed by my hands and feet. I can't seem to mind link anyone from my pack or my mate and worse, I can't feel sapphire. I'm scared and alone. Then in walks adrian. "You're awake my love." He stalks over to me and tries to touch my face but I flinch away from his hand. He has the nerve to look hurt. "Why would you flinch away from my touch?" He asked.

"Why?"

"WHY?" At this point I'm pissed.

"You shot me with whatever, took me away from my pups and my mate, who I was very happy with, and you have the audacity to ask me why?!" "I WANT TO BE WITH JAX!" I'm seething while adrian looks completely unfazed by my outburst. "I can see you're still upset, so" he pulls out a syringe "maybe a couple more days with that mutt in your head will make you more.....receptive." he comes closer and sticks the syringe in my neck and I black out again.

4 days later

I'm still shackled to this bed. I can finally feel sapphire since adrian hasn't came back to shot whatever that poison is into my system. Now I can try to mindlink someone to help me. 'Jax?' No response.

'Jax please' no response

I try desperately one last time. 'Jax help me please'

'Serenity?!' YES!!!

'JAX!! Please help us!!'

It's ok. Save your energy to keep our pup alive. Adrian storms through the door startling me. "YOU MINDLINKED THAT MUTT!!"

"Yes I did. I want my real mate." I sneer.

SLAP! Right across my face. "How dare you call that sniveling dog your mate in front of me?!" I'm seeing black dots in front of my eyes but I don't faint. I stare right into his eyes "how dare you kidnap me from my mate?!" My eyes narrow. "Not only am I fully mated to Jax but I'm his wife and the mother of his pups!! But did that stop you from trying to claim me for yourself? NO!" I feel some of my strength return as I break one of the shackles on my arm. My eyes are shifting from blue to purple. "I have a mate and a home and that's where I want to be!" Another shackle breaks, this one on my leg. At this point adrian is backing away slowly. "I WANT JAX!!!" I yell and break the other shackle. "I'm here love" a familiar voice says. I look towards the door and Jax immediately shift and bites adrian on his neck and doesn't let go until it breaks. Jax, still in wolf form, breaks the last shackle and scoops me up bridal style. "I missed you." He says with all the love and adoration he has for me. I kiss him passionately. Smile. Then pass out.

I wake up in the pack hospital. A sense of deja-but when I look over and see jax sleeping with the twins on his chest. I smile but then freak out slightly when I remember my pup inside me hasn't had any food in days. The dr walks in and sees my panicked face. He smiles and says "don't worry Luna, you and the pup are doing just fine." I breathe a heavy sigh or relief. Then look over at my mate, who is both awake and smiling at me. Finally, me and my family can be safe and happy.
