Alpha Kane

I started preparing myself for the mating party, I was curious and excited, but somehow I was worried. I didn't meet my mate before, but to be the Alpha next year, I will do anything.

It was my father's condition, and he was stubborn if I said no to him, he would hand the throne to anyone else in the royal family members.

So hell no! I do agree to get mated even if she was a cow.

I handled my suit for the last time and stood in front of the mirror, praising myself, "dammit! I'm handsome as hell! Whoever is going to be my mate, she is so fucking lucky! Sexy, smart and next Alpha in line and even so very filthy rich and powerful.”

I opened the door of my room and walked downstairs, followed by the guards, and met the Beta on my way. He bowed his head, "everything is ready, your highness in the ballroom.”

"Okay, where's my father and my mate? But hold on1 where's everyone else?” I asked in concern. I didn't spot anyone, not even the maids. But only the guards and few of them not all.

He smiled to me weirdly, "the mating party for you and your mate and your father and….” the Beta lingered his words, and I swear he looked so mysterious.

"And whom?” I firmly asked.

He grinned "and I…” so what! The Beta follows us like our shadow everywhere. So it was normal to be there.

But his words smiled so fishily.

Once I stepped inside the ballroom, it looked more like my funeral, even my mate was wearing a veil that covered her face, but it was such a thick veil. I couldn't see any of her features.

I stepped closer from my father and bowed respectfully in the presence of the king.

My mate's should bow her head for me, but she didn't! I thought, and it came to my mind that she was one of the royal family, that's why she has a self-ego.

"Father! Why she is hiding her face?!” and by that, I pulled up her veil and almost startled and hopped back freaked out "fuck dammit! She's so ugly! I do reject her.” I gritted on my teeth.

"You can't, you should pay! Kane…” and no, the one who dared to say that wasn't my father. He was the Beta.

I turned my head to him, "What the fuck are you saying?”

"She is my daughter! And you…. Did that to her…”

Oh my god! How the hell do they know that? But I can't do that. I should insist on my words.
