Vicky Rogers slowly opened her eyes and found herself in a familiar place. Yes.. She is in her own bedroom. She blinked several times to confirm that she is not dreaming.

"You are not dreaming.."

A melodious voice woke her up from her daze. It is Ethan Rogers who is wearing both worried and angered expression on his face. He might try to hide it but he couldn't because he almost lost his mother because of his stupidity. When he saw her unconscious in Samuel's arms his soul went out from his body. Even if he has an intelligent mind he is still a child.

Samuel comforted him for a long time and made him sleep late at night but he woke up earlier than Samuel to see his mother. She was sleeping peacefully in his father's arms. He never saw her sleep in peaceful manner when they were in their previous city. Samuel had to leave for a meeting so he left as soon as Ethan woke up after confirming that Vicky is well.

Vicky spread her arms because she missed him so much. Ethan rushed into her arms. She sighed only after breathing his scent. She thought that she was going to leave him forever. Though he can handle himself well even if something happens in the future, he will live a lonely life. The thought of him living alone made her fear. She prayed the Gods to let her live few more years until she met the right person as his father. She wanted him to live with his new father happily.

Then she remembered the person who saved her from drowning. He looked strangely familiar to her and his kiss. The kiss made her face flushing and her body stiffened. Ethan saw his mother's change and asked her

"You are still spacing out.... Why your face is so red..?"

"No. It's not... It's ... just.... I feel ... Cold..." She stuttered and she asked him about the man who saved her.

"Ethan.. where is that man..? Who is he...? How did he find me..?"

Though she has so many questions she decided not to ask Ethan because it is best of she asked the man directly.

"Even if he is saving her, his kiss was so intense.. " she thought herself.

"I really appreciate you mom... I was worried about you all night and the moment you wake you are asking about another man... Why...? Do you miss him that much..?" Ethan pouted his lips.

"Who is missing whom..? Baby... I just haven't thanked him that's all.. I won't miss another man who is not my son.." Vicky replied honestly.

Ethan felt really happy and he imagined what could be Samuel's reaction when he hear about what Vicky just said. He felt extra happy.

Then he started advising Vicky not to trust anyone others and so on... After an hour of lecturing he let Vicky eat her breakfast while certain someone who already heard what she just said and feeling jealous of his own son.
