Chapter 11 A New Identity

Although the two of them were currently a legally married couple, they had no emotional ties. Therefore, Mollie felt somewhat awkward with his touch, and intuitively, wanted to pull her hand back.

However, Lucas held it even more tightly. "Don't move!" He insisted on leading her all the way to Stanley's villa.

The Goodwin Family had a large number of members. When they arrived, Lucas's two brothers and one sister were already there.

Seeing Mollie, they all smiled enthusiastically. However, the look in their eyes was congruously contemptuous. Especially Jennifer Goodwin, her sneer fully revealed the disdain in her heart.

Mollie was the stepdaughter of Alec Crook. How could a woman with such a status be allowed to enter the Goodwin Family?

While they were sizing Mollie up, the woman was also looking at them without a trace. Although it was not her intention to marry Lucas, she had to make herself as comfortable as possible since she had already married into this family.

However, it seemed that the members of the Goodwin Family were not that pleased to welcome her.

Suddenly, a sweet voice sounded. A girl who seemed to be about eighteen years old walked up to Mollie with a smile on her face. "Wow! It's you!"

Mollie was stunned. "Do you know me?"

"Yeah, my name is Julia Goodwin, a sophomore at Empire University. I know you are a junior in the Chinese Department. Several boys in our class have a crush on you!"

Mollie revealed an awkward smile. It seemed that Julia was a simple girl. She emphasized that other men had a crush on Mollie in front of Lucas and other members of the Goodwin Family. Was not she making things difficult for Mollie?

Lucas seemed to become aware of Mollie's thoughts and chuckled, "That means I have a great taste, and my wife is a charming woman."

Since he was currently Mollie's husband, whether there was love between them or not, he must ensure that she would not suffer any harm in his family. He saw this as one of his duties.

"Of course, you have great taste. You don't know how popular Mollie is at school." Although Julia and Mollie never interacted before, the former liked the latter just by Mollie's outstanding appearance. If Julia were a boy, she would have definitely fallen in love with Mollie at first sight.

The more Julia said, the more embarrassed Mollie felt.

"How great can Lucas's taste be? Let me check it out!"

A noble-dressed woman walked in, and her tone was apparently mean. Behind her, there was a young couple.

"Mollie, this is Davina, my sister," Lucas introduced.

"Pleased to meet you." Mollie tilted her head to look at the young couple behind Davina Goodwin and instantly widened her eyes open in shock.

Why would Jalen and his fiancée show up together with Lucas's sister?

Davina sensed her gaze and introduced with pride, "My son Jalen and his fiancée Amelia, the young lady of the Lewes Family."

In Davina's view, although her husband's family background was average, she gave birth to an excellent son, whose fiancée came from a prominent family. It was enough for her to feel honored for a lifetime.

"You two, greet your aunt!" Davina pushed Jalen's back slightly. Her son had always been polite. Why was he acting like an ignored child?

At this moment, complex emotions were rolling in Jalen's heart. He and Mollie broke up less than half a month ago. Why did she suddenly become his uncle's wife?
