Chapter 4 After the Night
Under the brilliant crystal chandelier, the man looked down at the attractive woman whose eyes glistened with tears. His Adam's apple moved up and down, a complicated emotion flashing across his sharp eyes.
Sara didn't realize the danger. She even licked his thin lips as if they were jellies. Then, she touched his chest with her soft hands, anxious to take off his suit. As he felt the coolness, he gasped heavily and stared at this bold woman. With strength, he pushed her away. "Enough!"
But the next second, she pounced at him again and threw both of them onto the ground. In a daze, she pressed her body against his. As the man stared at the pure-minded woman, a touch of surprise swept across his eyes, but he soon hid his feeling well. When he wanted to get rid of her, she began wriggling on his body. Their breaths blew on each other's faces, and their bodies got warmer. With a deep breath, the man tried to repress his impulse. "Do you know what you are doing?" His voice was magnetic and hoarse; his pitch-black eyes glinted with mixed emotions.
Sara chuckled and said, "Yes, I know... I've waited long for this day..." Then, she pouted her lips in a lovely manner. When she wanted to say more, she felt as if the world was spinning. All of a sudden, the man's and the woman's positions switched.
The next morning, Sara opened her eyes slowly. Then, she saw the exquisite chandelier and the other furnishings of elegant simplicity.
Obviously, this was not her bedroom. She threw back the covers and looked at her naked body. There were several red hickeys on her fair skin.
Her brain buzzed blankly for a moment. She wanted to get off the bed, but she was sore all over and felt a terrible headache.
The pure and clean sunlight flooded in through a large French window. She sat on the bed and shook her head violently until some fragmented memories began swarming into her brain. Suddenly, she opened her eyes wide and covered her mouth. She remembered it – she was with a strange man here last night...
No, no, no, it must be a dream! She didn't believe she had done that with a strange man...
Kent... It must be him!
Hurriedly, she climbed off the bed and found her clothes on the Persian carpet in the living room. After putting them on, she fled out of the house.
As soon as she went back to her apartment, she called Kent to check whether it had been him last night. After a while, a soft, languorous voice came from the phone, "Hi, Kent is taking a shower. You may call him later." Clearly, the woman had just been awakened by the phone call.
Hearing Sara's voice, the woman raised her brows and said in a sweeter voice, "Uh-huh, he occupied me for a whole night!"
Sara hung up the phone with a snap and slumped onto the ground.
Kent hadn't been back last night, which meant she had really slept with another man...
As if struck by lightning, she stared at the front blankly. Then, she burst out crying.
She ran into the bathroom and washed herself hard, bruising her milk-white skin mercilessly. A wave of pain swept over her body, but she didn't care about that. At this moment, she was tortured by regret and frustration... It was not her fault on the wedding night, but what about yesterday? Her memory told her that it was she who had seduced that man first.
She closed her red eyes lightly, letting her scalding tears roll down her cheeks. Sitting in the bathtub, she sobbed uncontrollably. Only when the water got cold did she rise and leave the bathroom.
