Chapter 16 In a Bad Mood

As she thought of her questioning to him and his answer that day, her face turned gloomy and angry.

"Howard, when are you interested in girls like her?" A chuckle sounded, and Sara found that there were two handsome men standing beside the man.

One was gentle, noble, and elegant.

The other was scornful and a little bit evil, yet elegant.

The latter was looking at her with a smile on his face, his evil eyes with a sense of disdain.

Howard? The name sounded familiar, but Sara couldn't remember when she had heard it for the time being.

Forgot it. She just wanted to escape quickly and didn't want to see this man anymore.

Sara was already in a bad mood, so when she met this indifferent man, she said unhappily, "Mister, watch where you are going, will you?"

Sara glared at the man in front of her, wondering why she met him every time she was in an awkward situation? It's really strange. Sara pouted.

Howard was dressed in white casual clothes. His handsome face, fair skin, straight nose, and beautiful thin lips made him a charming scene. From the moment he walked into the coffee shop, he was the focus of everyone's attention, attracting a lot of girls to get crazy for him. Sara couldn't help but roll her eyes at him.

Howard looked at Sara who was with an angry expression and said unhurriedly, "Madam, have you forgotten that you just ran into me yourself?"

"Yes, I did, but couldn't you get out of my way in time?" People's minds were always in a mess when they were angry, so what they said made no sense.

Upon hearing her words, the two men behind smiled at the same time.

Howard smiled faintly. His beautiful eyes made people unable to move their eyes. He joked, "I also prevented you from entering my room before. Not only did you not leave, but you made it to enter."

He said, showing an innocent expression, "Do you think I can avoid you?"

"Oh my god, she entered your room?" The two men beside Howard laughed meaningfully.

"You!!!" Sara's face instantly reddened. She stamped her foot with shame under the strange gazes from the people around her, "You are way out of line." After speaking, she ran out of the coffee shop with embarrassment.

Howard looked at her back, the corner of his thin lips slightly raising.

"What's the situation? You and the woman just now..." Foster asked curiously, looking at Howard who seemed in a good mood, "You are not into her, are you?"

Howard glanced at him and said, "You talk too much nonsense. I got things to do. See you."

Before Foster could say anything more, Howard strode away.

Foster and Trent looked at each other and shrugged, "What the hell? He agreed to have afternoon tea with us, but now he ran away alone. What a guy, loving the beauty but abandoning his friends."

Sara ran out of the coffee shop, the tears she had held for a long time running down under the stimulation of the dazzling sunlight.

What Janet had said had been lingering in her ears. It turned out that they had already fallen in love a long time ago; it turned out that she was just a tool in their eyes; it turned out that she was just a stumbling block to their love.

Sara felt her heart hurt and tired. She wanted to end such a loveless marriage, but she couldn't bear it once she thought of grandpa.

She felt so helpless and confused, having no idea what to do next...

Beep, beep... The sound interrupted Sara's melancholy.

Sara looked at the limousine suddenly parked in front of her with tears and dim eyes. There was a cold and extraordinary face under the window. He said lightly, "Get in the car."

Sara looked at Howard with a bit of astonishment, wondering why he wasn't in the coffee shop. Why was he here? Did he come out to chase her?

Seeing Sara's puzzled expression, he said again, "Get in the car."

Sara retracted her thoughts, wiped away her tears, and said coldly, "Thank you. Don't bother."

"Don't you feel embarrassed when you look like this?" Howard frowned slightly, got out of the car, and walked toward Sara.

He was very tall, at least 1.8 meters. Standing in front of him, she was no higher than his chest.

His elegancy and nobility combined with his enchanting face attracted many passers-by to look at him a few times. At the same time, many people bossed her around.

Looking at her coffee-stained clothes and recalling Janet's words, Sara found her heart filled with grievance and discomfort suddenly. She raised her head and looked at Howard, her eyes moist, "You men are all scumbags. Did I owe you anything in my last life? Why the hell do you have to insult me in this life?"

Sara was also scolding Howard indirectly. It was true that she took the initiative that night, but she was drunk. He, however, was sober, but he did not push her away. After they slept together, he even looked cold, arrogant, and defiant. That was too much!

Her voice was not too loud, but enough to be heard by the passers-by.

Suddenly the situation reversed. Those women who admired Howard began to blame him, and some even scolded him as a bearer...

Sara's wrist suddenly tightened. Before she could react, Howard forcibly pushed her into his limousine.

"You..." As soon as she opened her mouth, Howard leaned over, his cold face magnified infinitely in front of her eyes.

Sara suddenly opened her eyes, watching the distance between them getting closer, so close that she could even see the almost negligible pores on his face. His fair skin was delicate and smooth, even better than that of any woman.

Why did this man smell so good? What perfume did he use? Suddenly Sara realized that she had become obsessed with this man, and her face was hot.

Sara looked at his thin and beautiful lips, her chest pounding. When she was about to push him away, a slight click suddenly sounded in her ear.

After Howard helped her fasten her seat belt, he started the engine and was ready to leave, but Sara was still in a daze. The atmosphere became a little awkward.

Sara thought he was going to kiss her forcibly. It was so awkward that she almost wanted to be invisible. How embarrassing. Purr...

Along the way, the two did not speak. When approaching Firmiana Garden, Sara finally couldn't help but say, "Sir, thank you for sending me back, and I also want to apologize for my bad attitude just now."

"Don't bother. I just come to pick up a file that I left at home," Howard said lightly.

When Sara heard this, she smiled awkwardly and said, "Even so, I still want to thank you. But I don't think we can be friends, so if we meet in the future, can we pretend not to know each other?"

Howard turned his head to look at Sara. His gaze seemed to say, "Don't flatter yourself. I don't intend to be friends with you."
