Chapter 8 You're Seducing Me

What?

Frustrated, Harriet nodded her head, "Yeah, I have a special relationship with him. Do you have a problem?"

"Ugh..." Steve turned livid, "You talk about psychological disorder. In fact, you don't want me to touch you. That explained why you broke up with me so readily!"

Harriet frowned. He sounded like she was faking it the whole time.

"Harriet!"

Steve got angrier, "Stop faking innocence, but I've consulted a doctor. The knot in your heart... is likely to be caused by an unpleasant sexual experience! Do you know what I mean? You... are dirty from a long time ago! Yet you didn't let me touch you!"

What?

Harriet was surprised by his speech.

When did she have any unpleasant experiences? It was her first time that night at the Heaven on Earth!

"Harriet."

Steve ridiculed, "Don't feel so wronged! We were together for two years, and you never let me touch you. I am the real wronged one!"

Harriet was baffled, "Steve, are you? Did I hear that, right?"

"Heh." Steve pulled a long face.

"Harriet, you once asked me if I liked you. What about you? Did you really like me? If you did, why couldn't I untie your knot! You're still trapped in the past! Who was the man hurting you? You know the answer!"

Steve got angrier and gripped her wrist, "Why couldn't you accept me? Because of the man who hurt you, right?"

Harriet's mind went blank. Was there such a man?

"This is a false charge! Steve, betrayal is betrayal! Stop coughing up dirt on me! We're done!"

Harriet forcefully broke free, turned around, and trotted away.

Her eyes were a bit misty.

After breaking up, couldn't they leave a few good memories for each other? Why did he put an unwarranted charge on her?

She had never liked any man except Steve!

...

Harriet trotted all the way to the side door and somehow ran into Mervyn.

Him again?

Recalling the past event and his help, she walked up.

"Sir."

Without looking at her, Mervyn slightly dropped his eyelids and hummed faintly, "Mm."

"Uh..." Harriet fumbled for words, "Thank you... for your help... but, well, have we met before?"

"Heh."

Following a chuckle, Mervyn suddenly turned around, threw his arm around her waist, and wall-banged her.

"Ah..." Harriet looked at him in shock, "Sir?"

The corner of his eye curved up ferociously, "Are you seducing me?"

Harriet changed countenance, "Sir, please conduct yourself!"

Sir? What a damn appellation!

Mervyn smirked and gazed at her with his eagle's eyes. What an act!

"Still pretending! Why being an agent? Be an actress; you'll be a drama queen!"

"What did I pretend?" Baffled, now Harriet regretted coming up.

"Mmm..."

Somehow, she was gagged by Mervyn's kiss.

It was more of a bite than a kiss! In pain, Harriet raised her hand to punch him.

But his hands were like pincers, and he went as far as tearing at her dress!

"Let..."

As soon as she opened her mouth, Mervyn became more unscrupulous and ferocious.

He kissed her again, and she still didn't feel sick... why?
