Chapter 5 Who Are You?

Then Steve looked at Victor who was known as his little uncle's best friend. He greeted the man politely, "Bro, you're also here."

His little uncle, five years older than him, was the child of his grandfather and his step-grandmother. His mother was pregnant at 19, so despite the little age difference, their seniority was quite different. Anyhow, they were both young, so Steve called Martin's friend bro.

"Mm." Victor responded. He knew that Martin's nephew had been raised abroad by the Lyons family and came back six months ago.

After the greeting, Steve sat down next to his uncle and Victor. Then the three started chatting.

"How are you doing in Lyons Group?" A little tipsy, Martin asked his nephew who had been managing Lyons Group ever since he came back. In the future, he was supposed to inherit the company.

"Pretty good, I'm basically used to it." Replied Steve. In front of his awe-inspiring uncle, he didn't dare to show his dandiacal side and tried his best to keep prudent.

"Mm, tell me if you need anything." Martin said blandly. Although his half-sister often caused trouble, his nephew was quite different. So far, Steve hadn't done anything to annoy him.

"Cool." Steve responded and then changed the subject, "Martin, I was staying overseas for many years and haven't met my aunt. Ever since I came back, I have been too busy to visit you. So... when will you be free? I'd like to treat you to dinner and get to know my aunt. Consider it the regard from a junior."

After Martin heard that, his eye expression changed slightly, and Elisa crossed his mind.

During their two-year marriage, he hadn't introduced her to anyone except the family members because he didn't love her and she was foolish. Later, she even got fat. He had never cared about her nor thought of such a matter.

Facing his nephew's request, he decided to bring out Sharon.

"I'll contact you when I'm free." Martin replied slowly, held by his current relationship with Sharon.

He didn't plan to hold a banquet to celebrate his marriage with Sharon and only longed for a peaceful life. After all, he only wanted to have the woman he loved. Nevertheless, it was fine to have dinner with his nephew.

"Mm, okay." Steve responded, "I'll wait for your call."

"Mm."

The three then had more chat before Steve felt it was time to leave. Sensibly he bade them goodbye and went away.

After Steve left, Victor asked with concern, "When are you getting married to Sharon?"

Victor knew about the forced marriage of his main man two years ago. Now, the woman of his dream came back, and Elisa signed the divorce paper without causing much trouble. This was not a bad result.

Martin just shook his head silently.

Victor detected hesitation in his eyes and knew that he hadn't made up his mind yet.

"No rush, take your time, and consider the big issue of life thoroughly." Victor knew about the personality of his buddy.

Martin silently exchanged looks with Victor.

The two drank more, and Martin was even more intoxicated. Nevertheless, it made him comfortable to drown his sorrow tonight. Then they left the party venue. Martin went to Rhine Hotel while Victor hired a driver to send him home.

...

The manager of Rhine Hotel received his boss in person and handed him a master card so that he could check in and do his inspection of the hotel.

Martin took the master card and headed to the presidential suite on the 36th floor. Under the effect of alcohol, he didn't see clearly in the elevator but pressed the button of the 35th floor.

On the 35th floor, Martin got out of the elevator, walked to the nearest room, swiped the card, and got in.

In the room, Elisa was taking off her clothes for the heat. In his dizziness, Martin walked into the room and saw a woman in bed. Her figure was slim, but he couldn't see her face clearly.

"Who are you?" Martin snapped. What was she doing in his room?
