Chapter 11 Business

About another half an hour passed…

Howard didn't rush her again, and she felt a bit tired. After cleaning up everything, she finally came out.

Before the bath, Summer was wearing such heavy bridal makeup that her real features were indiscernible.

Now she already had the makeup removed. Her big eyes were glittering, her eyelashes were long, her skin was smooth, her face was oval, her nose bridge was tall, and her mouth was small.

In all, she was not drop-dead gorgeous but stunning enough.

Howard looked at her in a daze.

Originally, he brought her back to cope with Amanda. Now, it looked like Amanda would not be relentless unless she saw the marriage license.

There were no better candidates, and this woman was sort of smart.

"What… what are you looking at?"

Summer tightened the bathrobe.

"Take off my bathrobe." Howard restored his indifference.

"No! Your shirt is too short, so I… I won't."

Howard took another step closer, leaned over, curled up his mouth, and whispered in her ear, "Do you want to see me naked after the shower?"

"Argh…" Summer blushed, pushed him away, got under the quilt, took off the bathrobe, and threw it out.

Howard used his index finger to pick up the bathrobe, flung it around his shoulder, and went to the bathroom with a smirk.

After an exhausting day, Summer soon fell asleep.

She felt that she just slept for a few minutes before Howard sat on the edge of the bed and spoke in a devilish voice, "Get up."

"W… what?" She got up with a start and held the quilt tightly.

"Didn't I tell you that we still got business to do?" Howard deliberately said in an ambiguous tone.

"Behave yourself, or I'll scream. I… you… you don't want the old lady to know that I'm an extra, right? You…" Summer cowered involuntarily.

She reached out to block the approaching man but accidentally tore off his bathrobe. A large part of his pectoral muscle was exposed.

This… was sheer temptation!

Luckily, she bore Lodge Ward in her heart, otherwise, she might not be able to fight back the urge to commit a crime!

Anyway, handsome men with perfect figures looked dashing in any kind of clothes.

He still glittered with wealth even in a piece of cloth.

"You keep staring at me like this, and I couldn't help wanting to do something." Howard smirked.

Embarrassed, Summer immediately covered her face with both hands and stopped making another sound.

It was the first time that she saw a man just coming out of the shower. Inexperienced, she knew not how to cope with the situation.

"Alright, sit over here."

Summer hesitated.

He reached out his arm, pulled her to the edge of the bed, turned around to fetch a hairdryer, and helped her dry her wet hair.

"Don't you know how to use a hairdryer?" His tone became much softer.

"I… don't know where to get it." She panicked with his sudden tenderness.

After drying her hair, Howard pulled over a chair, sat down, and spoke solemnly after a pause, "Alright, let's get down to business."

"Business?" Summer tried to recall everything that happened today before leaning over and lowering her voice, "You are not marrying me, are you?"

"Yes, we'll get the marriage license." Emotionless, Howard replied blandly.
