Chapter 20 Mrs. Tran's Position
When Howard called her 'Mrs. Tran', it sent a shiver down her spine.
Instinct told her the matter was not that simple. There should be some other reasons that Howard sought all means to marry her.
But now, she didn't have other choices.
The marriage license was issued in just a few minutes.
The so-called important thing in one's life was so simple. It was not as hard as she imagined to take the step.
Howard walked out of the Civil Affairs Hall seemingly in a good mood.
"A woman like Daisy is not worthy of getting on my bed. I won her over by giving her a minor role to play through my entertainment company." He looked ahead and spoke in a frivolous tone, seemingly trying to answer her question.
"It doesn't matter now." Summer looked down at the marriage license in her hand and smiled bitterly.
Lodge valued his future while Daisy pursued fame and fortune.
As for how they worked together perfectly to force her to give up and become Howard's captives, it no longer mattered.
"Why doesn't it matter? Didn't you say that I seduced her? Doesn't it matter that your husband didn't sleep with another woman?"
Annoyed by her indifferent attitude, Howard reached out to pinch her chin. Anger was blazing in his eyes.
"I am just prey of your whim, so why bother with an explanation? Your affectations are disgusting!" She faced his fierce gaze and said coldly.
"Don't challenge my patience just because you look pretty. Know your place as Mrs. Tran!"
Enraged, Howard swung his arm and left in a huff.
Pretty?
She hadn't expected his fascination.
Did the scheming man like her face?
In a rage, Summer went back to school.
At the sight of Summer's marriage license, Cecilia excitedly touched Howard's handsome face on the photo.
"Oh my God, Summer! It's really a marriage license and Howard!" She nervously walked around the dormitory and exclaimed after confirming that no one else was there.
"Easy." Summer disdained.
"Hey, you know what kind of person your husband is? You're so calm." Cecilia was not convinced.
"I know, a man, a rich man."
Cecilia was frustrated by her indifference.
"What about his height, weight, and BWH? His family members? What does he like to eat? His hobbies? And, how many girlfriends did he have… You don't know any of these? How would you keep your position as Mrs. Tran?"
The position of Mrs. Tran, again!
"His height is about 185 centimeters. He has a stepmother… sinister and cunning. He likes to eat gunpowder. Mm, that's much pretty it."
Summer bore with her dissatisfaction and responded nonchalantly.
Everyone was clear about the nature of the deal. Why was she repeatedly reminded that she took the position of Mrs. Tran?
Besides, she was maintaining a marriage with no love.
Did it matter… whether she could keep the position for long?
"Summer from Room 201, someone is looking for you!" The voice of the dorm supervisor was… earth-shaking.
Once downstairs, she saw Mark waiting respectfully at the door.
"Madam, this way please."
Summer pursed her lips and followed him reluctantly.
At the school gate, Howard was blatantly waiting in his luxury car, oblivious to the strange gazes from those students.
