Chapter 3 To Prove Her Innocence
Suddenly, Alyssa put her vine-likely slender arms around Leon's neck, and the man instantly came to his senses.
He saw her pretty face moving closer to his and then her lips landed upon his.
He immediately held her slim waist, and the two of them intertwined with each other.
"Will you regret it?" Leon's voice was like an alarm bell. "The drug was given by your family."
"I won't regret choosing you, Leon."
"Really?"
Alyssa wrapped Leon's neck with her fair, thin arms. "I mean it."
"You're not playing tricks on me again, are you?" Leon recalled that Alyssa called another man's name in her coma one moment ago. "Before you fainted, you threatened not to marry me by knocking your head against the wall. Are you actually trying to let my guard down so that you can escape?"
"No." Alyssa took Leon's hand and dug her head into his arms, knowing that it was useless to explain herself, she simply took Leon's belt off.
Clack!
The belt buckle opened.
"You're playing with fire."
Alyssa knew there was no point in talking, undid the man's clothes eagerly, and kissed him attentively.
Staring at the attentive woman, Leon raised his hands to hold her face and kissed her back.
Half an hour later...
Alyssa pressed her head tightly against Leon's chest. It was the very first time that she had sex with a man. Feeling somewhat guilty and flustered, she was too embarrassed to lift her blushed face. The tingling sensation in her body reminded her that she was already Leon's woman.
The room was in silence.
That silence made Alyssa panic.
"Did you do this to get rid of me?"
Leon abruptly broke the freezing silence. However, his words simply made the room temperature drop further.
Alyssa froze, then looked up at Leon, wondering what she should say to make him believe her.
She looked into his distrustful eyes, rolled her pupils cleverly, took the white jade amulet off, and put it around Leon's neck.
As expected, her movements worked.
The next second, hints of tenderness appeared in Leon's eyes.
Alyssa took the man's hand and looked into his gentle eyes. "I'm willing to marry you and I'm determined. This jade amulet was given by a person who was very important to me when I was a child. That boy saved my life and gave it to me. Also, he said he would come to me when we both grew up. I've been waiting for him all the time. Leon, after marrying you, I won't wait for him, is that okay?"
At the woman's words, Leon lowered his head and glanced at those bloodstains on the inside of her wedding dress. Instantly, he knew that she was a virgin before having sex with him a moment ago. Looking at the jade amulet around his neck, Leon obviously eased up.
Alyssa heaved a sigh of relief upon seeing the man's better countenance.
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Alyssa panicked slightly and leaned into Leon's arms nervously.
Intuitively, Leon clasped the woman, who was trembling in his arms.
"Mr. Hunter, the wedding is ready. Your grandfather asked me to check if everything is fine."
"Everything is fine."
Before Leon could speak, Alyssa volunteered to answer that person's question.
Leon turned his head to stare at Alyssa, who anticipated him, in surprise.
Alyssa looked at Leon, the only man she wanted to marry, with a sincere smile.
She remembered well what Ryan told her in the previous life. It was Leon she got to know when she was a kid. It was Leon she had been waiting for more than a decade. It was also Leon who was the previous owner of the white jade amulet.
It was Leon whom she wanted all the time.
She leaned in closer to the man and held his face. "Leon, I'm really ready to marry you. Don't tell me that you don't want to marry me anymore."
"As long as you are willing, I am willing too!"
With that, Leon took Alyssa's hand and led the way towards the outside.
