Chapter 12 She Is an Academic Loser

At this moment, everyone looked at Emily.

Emily raised her head to look at Alyssa, saying, "Leon likes seafood, and it'll be best if the shrimps and crabs are peeled. I always help him peel off the shrimps' skin."

"That's very talented of you, Emily. You know what? I also like seafood like fish skin and shrimp very much and also like someone else to peel the skin for me." While saying with a smile, Alyssa picked up a shrimp, peeled off its skin with grace, then brought it to Leon's mouth. "Enjoy it."

Staring at the smiling woman, Leon opened his mouth intuitively.

The shrimp tasted fresh and silky.

The Hunters all looked at Leon. Grandpa Hunter then said with a smile, "Alyssa, you're too slim. Eat more. You must take good care of yourself so that you two can have a baby soon. Leon, you eat more too. Also, take care of your wife."

"I know." Leon nodded and glanced at Alyssa, saying, "The shrimp is delicious."

Alyssa smiled happily and peeled off the skin of more shrimps.

She put all those peeled shrimps into Leon's bowl.

Emily was irritated but could not say anything.

While tamping down her anger, Mrs. Hunter said coldly, "Dad, I don't think Miss Graham wants to give birth to a Hunter at all. I mean, they didn't even share a room last night. How can they make a baby in that way?"

At Mrs. Hunter's words, Grandpa Hunter looked at Alyssa with confusion.

Alyssa then said, "Grandpa, since we are family, I'll be frank with you. Leon and I have slept with each other before the wedding. We didn't share a room last night as I didn't feel well. As for making a baby, I'm in. Anyway, I like kids. What do you think, Leon?"

At the question thrown at him, Leon glanced at the family sitting around the table and replied, "Sure, anytime."

Upon hearing Leon's answer, Grandpa Hunter burst out laughing. "Leon is different after the marriage. Much maturer indeed."

George, who remained silent all the time, heard Grandpa's praise of his elder brother and noticed that his mother was about to lose her temper, then hurried to stop her by saying in a soft voice, "Alyssa, I heard about you before. You're a junior in the department of finance at A University, the same grade as Emily. Also, I heard your academic performance is not good."

At George's words, Emily glanced at Alyssa. Although her facial expression did not change, she felt thrilled inside. It was clear that Alyssa's performance at A University was quite poor. If Alyssa was not the young lady of the Graham Family, she would have been kicked out of the school.

Alyssa replied, "Yes, I used to leave my studies uncultivated. But I know I was wrong and will study hard from now on to enrich myself."

She could do nothing to change the past.

She wanted to modify other people's opinions of her.

In her previous life, she was distracted by Ryan from schooling and had no interest in studying. And she relied heavily on cramming before exams to maintain her grades just passable.

The next round of exams was scheduled to happen in half a month. For this reason, Alyssa did not see Ryan much recently, and therefore, Ella managed to find evidence that Alyssa did not have time to date Ryan on campus.

She was wrong before and would alter for the better.

"Can an academic loser become an academic tyrant? I don't think so." George, who got into A University's finance department last year with the top grade in the country, was disdainful of Alyssa.

"George, don't say that." Emily pretended to stop the man in a low voice.

George did not stop talking and continued in a sarcastic tone, "I wonder if she is allowed to be a loser at A University only because of her rich family background."
