Chapter 4 Stop Faking

She dropped her eyelashes, drew back her hand, sat on Jim's lap, whispered in his ear, "Like this?"

Following her words, Sophia threw her slender arms around his neck and brushed her soft lips against his cheek.

"Is this all you've got?" Jim looked grim and smirked disdainfully, "Stop faking innocence in front of me?"

Sophia stiffened, and her clear dark eyes became misty out of his view.

She blinked to conceal the complicated expressions in her eyes and smiled coquettishly, "Ah, sure enough, Mr. Brown knows me the best."

"Well... how about this?"

Following her words, Sophia threw her arms around his neck. Her long eyelashes trembled as she moved close to the man. When she felt a cool sensation from the lips, her heart skipped a beat.

Anger tinted Jim's dark eyes when Sophia kissed him on the lips.

"Mr. Brown... is it good enough?" She opened her eyes. The lash lines of her eyes curved up as she smiled at him.

Met with his dark eyes, Sophia involuntarily restrained her smile and got up, "I should go."

Jim grabbed her by the wrist and spoke in a deep voice, "Did I say I'm satisfied?" Then he yanked her into his arms and pressed her down on the sofa.

When she looked at his handsome face so closely, her heart started to pound. In a fluster, she turned her head sideways, "Mr. Brown..."

Her following speech was muffled by a kiss.

Jim threw his left arm around her slender waist and clasped the back of her head with his right palm, forcing her lips to press against his.

The upward lash lines of her eyes flushed and her widened eyes became misty.

This was a kiss... seven years apart.

Sophia looked at his face with wet eyes. Crystal moisture formed on her long eyelashes that trembled uneasily, and tears streamed down her cheeks.

Salty tears slid down into their mouths.

"What are you crying for? Aggrieved?" Jim paused and smirked sarcastically.

"I..."

Jim stood up, wiped his hands with her body, cast his gloomy eyes down, and looked at her sullenly, "Sophia, your look really makes me sick."

"Get lost before you stain this place."

Venomous words came out of his sexy thin lips without hesitation. Sophia stared at him blankly. The face, eyes and the person looked familiar yet distant.

She was nasty in his mind.

Nasty...

Heh, her long eyelashes drooped slowly, staining her fair cheeks with tears. Sophia took a deep breath, exerted full strength to maintain her balance, got up, and smiled at Jim charmingly, "Such being the case, sorry... for the disturbance. Mr. Brown, see you. Oh, I mean, see you not."

She walked away without looking back. The moment when she stepped out of the door, her heart was dead. In the meantime, she felt reborn.
