Chapter 20 A Tough Woman
The man gazed at the woman in silence for a good while, then took off his clothes and left only his underwear. He lay down next to Emma and closed his eyes for a rest.
Emma was drunk. In her dream, she murmured. Wilson listened carefully but failed to recognize even a single word.
But she slept soundly, curling up in his warm arms like a cattie.
Wilson's faint masculine scent chilled out the woman, heated her senses, and led her to a sexy dream.
Emma woke up when the sexy dream was gone, and she found that Wilson was also gone.
"Did I lose the game? I actually lost it?" Emma had no idea that Wilson held her all night last night. Her dizzy head reminded her that she had lost the game last night. Embarrassingly, she wished she could stay drunk to escape reality.
Knock, knock.
"Who is it?"
"Miss Brooks, I'm from Chateau Elan. Mr. Hayes said if you're awake, you should meet him at Nine-Curve Corridor."
Emma paused for one second. How come Wilson knew that she would wake up at this time.
"Okay, I see."
Although she had lost the game, she had to face reality. Thus, after taking several deep breaths of fresh air, Emma went to the bathroom to clean herself up.
She was surprised to see herself in a nightgown. Who helped her get changed last night?
With her eyes widened open, Emma rushed back to the room to look for the dress she was in last night. However, she could not find it. Instead, she noticed another clothing bag.
She opened the bag and found a more casual dress.
...
Wilson was sitting in Nine-Curve Corridor and appreciating the view. Upon hearing footsteps approaching, he did not turn his head back.
"Hey, I never expected President Hayes to spend one night at my winery. Didn't you hate my place for being too quiet?"
Michelle, the owner of Chateau Elan, smiled and joked. She was in a tight black dress, appearing delicate and competent. After sitting in front of Wilson, she looked at him curiously and tried to read something from his expression.
However, Wilson was adept at concealing his emotions from others. Michelle eventually caught nothing.
"About that woman on last night, is she really just your secretary? I was up all night waiting to see when you would come out of her room, and you didn't."
Wilson finally responded to Michelle's words by commenting, "Boring."
"To pry into gossip about City Y's number one low-key and mysterious handsome man, I think it's worth squatting in the corner all night." Michelle smiled and looked at Wilson. "Seriously, that woman is pretty indeed. Also, her temperament is impressive. Though I have no idea about her background, I wonder if you can handle her."
Michelle said these words to seduce Wilson to say more but did not think they would work. However, as smart and cautious as Wilson was, they actually replied to her, "The more challenging it is to handle a woman, the more interested men will become."
Haha!
Michelle could not help laughing out loud.
"President Hayes, are you really interested in her?"
Wilson glanced at her with a slight warning in his eyes. Michelle shrugged, saying, "It's a beautiful day. I'm going out for breakfast; make yourself at home."
If she stayed any longer, Wilson's gaze would freeze her to death.
Not long after Michelle left, Emma arrived.
The moment she showed up, Wilson fixed his burning eyes upon her.
