Chapter 24 Falling Victim to School Violence

Victoria glanced at Joan and regarded her as a hindrance when she beat Camila up later.

"Let her go and guard her at the door."

Camila was relieved to hear her consent at the last minute.

Victoria dragged her into the bathroom and directly lifted her hand to smack her. Following a slap, her cheek swelled.

Undaunted, she stared at Victoria with desperate eyes and spoke calmly.

"Victoria, do whatever you want with me today, but please stop causing more trouble. From the very beginning, I haven't thought of offending you. I don't know what I did that makes you hate me so much!"

It was not that she didn't want to fight back, but that would only incur more harm. Even her family might be implicated, so she had to give in.

"Arlo likes you, and that's your sin!"

While speaking, Victoria grabbed her hair and pulled it forcefully.

Camila gritted her teeth to endure the pain. She didn't scream, but her fears fell with the sharp pain.

Victoria looked at her flushed face and mocked.

"Yikes, crying so soon? It hasn't started yet."

Camila felt that her scalp was about to be torn off, and it hadn't started? Not in her wildest dreams had she expected this girl to be so vicious!

Following that, Victoria lifted her foot and kicked her in the abdomen. The force threw her to the floor. In her pain, her brows were knitted together and big drops of tears fell uncontrollably.

Victoria looked down at her suffering with satisfaction, walked up slowly, and squatted down with a smile.

"How is it, hurtful? Against my order, you told Arlo on me, and this is the price to pay. From now on, stay away from him, understand?"

Before she could reply, Victoria got to her feet, ready to beat her up.

"Hey, what are you doing here?"

Fortunately, the counselor made it to the scene upon hearing the news, otherwise, Camila would suffer today.

Victoria sighed at the meddling counselor and turned around calmly.

"Hello counselor, nothing, we're just playing."

The counselor recognized Victoria. The expression in her eyes changed, and she softened her tone.

"The bathroom is nothing fun, come out now."

Looked like the counselor also didn't want to offend her. Since Camila was not severely injured, she played the matter down.

"Okay, counselor, bye."

Victoria smiled smugly, waved at Camila, and went out as if nothing happened.

Camila got up slowly, wiped her tears, and fixed her hair. She didn't want Joan to see her terrible condition and tried her best to pull herself together.

As soon as Victoria went out with the counselor, Joan rushed into the bathroom, held her friend, and asked with distress.

"Camila, are you all right? Where did she hit you?"

Camila didn't want her to worry and thus answered.

"I'm okay, don't worry, I'm really fine."

But when she raised her head, Joan saw a distinct imprint on her face.
