Chapter 6 Stripped
"Huh?" Taylor was baffled but followed his instruction involuntarily.
"You smell familiar." Claude slightly arched his brow and laid his unfathomable eyes on her face.
The corner of her mouth twitched. She hastily avoided his ardent eyes and explained, "I'm an assistant in the secretary's office. I've worked here for a couple of days, so you may have seen me."
"Seen you?" Claude curled up his lips and chewed over her remark, "Indeed."
Somehow, Taylor sensed an implication from his remark.
She was flustered!
"Where were you last night?" Claude took one step closer to her.
Taylor cowered and dared not raise her head.
As if his interest was piqued, Claude followed in her retreating steps.
"Is that guilt on your face?" He implied and teased.
Taylor hurriedly shook her head, "What, no! I'm just afraid of you, sir..."
Before she could finish her speech, she tripped over the sofa and fell backward.
Oh my!
Taylor believed she would turn upside down awkwardly. In reflex, she covered her face to hide from the upcoming shame.
But the fall didn't happen, and she felt a stream of warmth in her waist.
When she felt his warm palm, her heart skipped a beat. Hard to describe, it felt like an electric shock.
The man held her waist and yanked her back. Then the girl fell into his arms.
The refreshing fragrance from his body assailed her nostrils and captivated her soul.
His embrace was warm, comfortable, and something she was dying for.
"Your body feels familiar too!" While Taylor indulged in his arms, the attractive voice of the man slowly came from above.
Taylor stiffened to hear that.
She hurriedly got out of his arms and boldly lifted her head to face his eyes, "Sir, do we have a misunderstanding?"
"Misunderstanding, what kind of misunderstanding?" His deep eyes glittered imperturbable light, and Taylor couldn't get his meaning.
"It was you last night, right?" Claude arched his brow and pressed.
Taylor shook her head instinctively, "No, not me!"
"Really? I need to verify it on the spot!" He curled up his lips smartly. The unbridled smile on his face enhanced his charm.
Taylor was amazed. In fact, it was just a few days after she joined the secretary department as a minor assistant. Most of the time, she had been running errands.
She didn't have any opportunity to reach the CEO, and those secretaries described him as grumpy tartar.
In her eyes, the man was more like a whiny wolf.
Was the demon in him dormant?
Her mind wandered until her skin felt cold. Only then did she notice that she was stripped by the reserved man in the expensive suit!
