Chapter 4 Wicked Sister
"Not yet, sir. Our new partners in the past three days didn't send over any woman." Dexter answered.
"But the guest who checked in room 8520 is named Ruben Clay."
His dark eyes flickering, Caper mused, "Did she find the wrong room?"
At the thought of Alice's drunken expression last night, he was almost certain of his assumption.
When he woke up in the morning, he was surprised by something on the bedsheet. It was her first time.
Dark narrowed his obsidian eyes and remembered more details of last night...
A sense of satisfaction suddenly surged in him. That might be men's possessiveness.
He walked to his desk, picked up his car key and suit, and spoke without looking back, "No need to follow me tonight."
"Yes, sir!"
As Caper walked away, Dexter made a call, "Deacon, protect Mr. Bowman!"
Ten minutes later, Caper was driving on the road in his top-end Maybach.
He drove aimlessly with an icy face. His mind was filled with the woman who begged for mercy beneath him.
He just came back from a business trip abroad last night and bypassed the hotel owned by his family. Exhausted, he checked into his dedicated room, and meeting Alice was beyond his expectation...
Hatefully, he was mistaken for another man!
What was the cause of all this?
How did Alice mistake him for a man named Ruben?
The billionaire normally wouldn't even bother to take a look at such a shortie. That foolish woman, however, took him for a spare wheel?
His dark eyes glittered with gloomy light. He swore he would make her regret it!
...
Three days later, Ruben drove a rented Lamborghini to Flying Dream Academy and parked it at the school gate.
Whenever he dated Sara Sharon, he would rent this supercar to package himself as a rich man.
The employee of Sharon Enterprise was dead set on winning the heart of the chairman's daughter.
After inadvertently learning Sara's background three months ago, he started to approach her intentionally.
In the passenger seat, Sara looked out of the window and happened to see Alice coming out of the school gate.
She arched her eyebrow, "Ruben, you let Alice slip away last night, and the man I hired waited all night for nothing. Did you regret it?"
"Sara, I swear I didn't relent! It's not my fault that she didn't go to the hotel last night." Ruben sulked.
The scantily-clad woman with delicate makeup had done her investigation and saw through his disguise.
He was actually from an ordinary middle-class family.
Even so, she could still use him to work against Alice.
"Ruben, I'll give you another chance. In three days, get Alice to that hotel."
"I'll assign three men to wait there, and her life will be a living hell! Ha-ha..."
Ruben trembled at her treacherous laughter.
He found the rich lady vicious and cold-blooded. Should she do such a cruel thing to her half-sister!
What was the animosity between them? He had no idea.
If Alice were the apple of the chairman's eye, he wouldn't have courted such a wicked woman. Besides, Alice was much prettier.
Then again, if he could marry Sara, it would be a great shortcut to the top. Pure interests had him spellbound.
"Sara, consider it done!"
"By then, will you be my girlfriend?"
Sara looked at his outstretched hand, drew back her hand from his palm, and spoke gently, "Ruben, as long as the job is done, I'll consider."
"Actually, I know about your family background and that you rent this Lamborghini. You don't have to do this."
"As long as Alice is raped, I'll buy a Lamborghini for you."
Ruben was carried away by her promise and temptation. He abruptly grabbed her hand and kissed it flatteringly, "Sara, you are my Muse! You're the woman of my dreams! I'll definitely complete the mission for you!"
...
Ten minutes later, Alice bought a pancake, went back to the school gate, and walked on a less-trodden path to the library.
She walked around the corner of the staircase and bumped into a man...
